In conventional coin sorting devices attached to public telephones, coins that roll and fall into a coin accumulation track are temporarily stopped by an escape mechanism, and are driven by an electromagnet that is energized by the arrival of a collection signal. The coin storage mechanism is provided with a coin storage mechanism in which the escape is moved out of the coin storage track in conjunction with a coin storage lever to store stored coins one by one in a storage safe starting from the lowest coin storage.

Figures 1a and 1b show an example of a conventional coin storage mechanism of this kind, in which 1 is a board installed upright within the phone housing, and 2 is attached to this board 1 via a spacer (not shown). On the side plates, these both plates 1,
2 to form a coin accumulation track 3, and after a coin is inserted into the coin accumulation track 3, the outer diameter is
Coins 4a, 4b, . . . , which have been sorted by material, etc., are guided. An escape 6 is rotatably disposed on the side plate 2 via a bracket and a support shaft 5 (not shown). This escape 6 usually has its lower end locking part 6a facing the lowest part of the coin accumulation track 3 through a long hole 7a bored in the side plate 2, thereby blocking the coin accumulation track 3, thereby blocking the coin accumulation track 3. Coins 4a, 4b... are temporarily locked. The escape 6 includes a coin storage lever 9 whose upper end is connected to an armature 12 which is rotatably supported by a pin 8 and is always given a clockwise rotational tendency by a spring (not shown). The lower ends of the coin storage levers 9 are connected to each other via a pin 10, and the escaper 6 is released when the coin storage lever 9 is driven by an electromagnet 13. That is, when the electromagnet 13 is excited by the arrival of the charging pulse sent from the central office, the armature 12 is attracted and the coin storage lever 9 is rotated counterclockwise as shown in FIG. With this rotation, the escape 6 rotates clockwise and withdraws its locking portion 6a from the coin storage track 3, thereby dropping the lowest accumulated coin 4a onto the coin storage track 14. The next coin 4b falls at the same time as the lowest coin 4a is stored.
, the next coin locking part 6b integrally provided at the upper end of the escape 6 enters into the coin accumulation track 3 through another long hole 7b drilled in the side plate 2 as the escape 6 rotates. As a result, it is temporarily locked, and when the storage operation of the lowest coin 4a is completed, it is released from the locking part 6b and falls, and is received by the lower end locking part 6a of the escape 6 which has returned to rotation.

However, in such a conventional coin storage mechanism, when a coin falling onto the coin storage track 3 collides with the lower end locking portion 6a of the escape 6, a rotational moment is generated in the escape 6 due to the impact. Since the lower end locking portion 6a is moved out of the coin storage track 3, there is a drawback that coins to be temporarily stored are erroneously stored in the safe even though a charging pulse does not arrive.

The present invention was developed in view of the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional technology, and when a billing pulse arrives, the escape is operated by a coin storage lever that is attracted and driven by a coin storage electromagnet, and coins are accumulated on the escape. In a coin storage mechanism that drops coins into a coin storage track, one end of the escaper is operatively connected to the coin storage lever, and the escaper is normally configured such that a locking portion of the escapement remains protruding into the coin storage track. By providing a locking member that restricts the rotation of the escaper and releases the restriction on the escape operation by rotating in conjunction with the coin storage lever when storing coins, it is possible to prevent coins from being stored incorrectly. This invention provides a structure for preventing erroneous storage of coins in a coin storage mechanism.

FIG. 2 is a sectional view showing the incorrect storage structure of the coin storage mechanism according to the present invention, where a shows the state when coins are not stored, and b shows the state when coins are stored. In order to avoid complication of explanation, the same constituent members as those in FIG. 1 are denoted by the same reference numerals, and the explanation thereof will be omitted.

In this embodiment, a locking member 20 is provided which restricts the rotation of the escape 6 when coins are not stored, and releases the restriction on the operation of the escape 6 by rotating in response to the coin storage lever 9 when coins are stored. It is distinctive in that it was established. That is, this locking member 20 is formed into a substantially inverted T-shape, and its vertical portion 2
0a and the horizontal portion 20b are rotatably supported via a pin 21, and a pin 24 protruding from the upper end of the vertical portion 20a is continuously provided at the lower end of the coin storage lever 9. The horizontal part 20b is fitted into the groove 23 of the extending part 22, and one end of the horizontal part 20b is brought into substantially contact with a stopper part 25 provided on the escape 6.
A weight 26 is fixed to the other end of the horizontal portion 20b, and this weight 26 applies a counterclockwise rotational moment to the locking member 20.

Since this embodiment is configured as described above,
Even if a large clockwise rotational moment is generated in the escape 6 due to the falling impact of the coin 4, one end of the locking member 20 is almost in contact with the stopper portion 25, so that further rotation is prevented, and the coin 4 is

Furthermore, when the charge pulse arrives, the armature 12 is activated by excitation of the electromagnet 13 as shown in FIG.
is sucked and the coin storage lever 9 is thereby rotated counterclockwise. First, the locking member 20 is rotated clockwise via the pin 24 using the pin 21 as a fulcrum, and the stopper of the escape 6 is rotated. 25. When the coin storage lever 9 rotates further, the escape 6 is rotated clockwise via the pin 10, but at this time, as described above, the escape 6 and the locking member 20 are not in contact with each other, so it is not enough. Escape 6 can be rotated. Therefore, the lower end locking portion 6a of the escape 6 withdraws from the coin storage track 3, causing the coin 4 to fall onto the coin storage track 14 and storing it in the safe.

As explained above, according to the accidental storage prevention structure of the coin storage mechanism according to the present invention, the rotation of the escape is restricted when coins are not stored, and the escape is rotated in conjunction with the coin storage lever when coins are stored. Since the locking member for releasing the restriction on the escape operation is provided, it is possible to prevent the escape from malfunctioning due to the impact or vibration of the coin. Therefore, there is no risk of coins being erroneously stored, and an extremely reliable coin storage mechanism can be obtained, which has very great practical effects.
