特に表面と裏面の同一位置に磁気ストライプを貼
付した磁気カードの書込み、読取り動作を行う磁

界の影響を受けて裏側の磁気ストライプ5が減磁
され、該磁気ストライプ5の読取りマージンが低

ための圧接ローラ等の押圧体に保磁力の小さい磁

磁気カード2を磁気ヘツド1に押圧する圧接ロ
ーラ3はその一部のみを示しているが、該磁気カ
ード2に接する外周部6は保持性の小さい磁性材
料で構成されている。このため裏側のストライプ
5の前記圧接ローラ3と接触する部分では該磁気
ストライプ5上に記録された磁気情報により生ず
る磁束即ち磁極Nから発生する磁束が上記外周部
6を通つて磁極Sに入る閉磁路ができる。このた
め書込み電流による外部磁界中に置かれても磁気
ストライプ5の磁界を減少させるような逆方向の
磁界即ち減磁力を生ずるような磁極が生ぜず、磁
気ストライプ5は減磁されにくくなる。また保磁
性が小さいため磁気ストライプ5による上記外周
部6の残留磁気は磁気記録情報を乱すほど影響は

ツドへ押圧する押圧体としては単にローラのみで
なく板状ブロツクやベルトなどが考えられるが、
板状ブロツクやベルトでも同様の効果が達成でき
