するものである。 スキーは種々の材質を組合せて製造されている
が、スキーのエツジ及びプロテクターは、鉄、ア
ルミニウム等の金属で成型されているので非常に
腐蝕(錆び)し易い欠点があつた。また、これら
の部位の材質は軽量であると共に、優れた機械的
強度が要請されるので満足すべき材質が無かつた
のである。 本考案者は、スキーのエツジ及びプロテクター
を種々の材質で成型して、これによりスキーを製
作し検討した結果この考案を完成した。 すなわち、この考案はエツジまたは(及び)プ
ロテクターをアモルフアス合金で成型することに
より、アモルフアス合金の有する抜群の耐腐蝕性
及びその他の優れた機械的強度をそのまま発揮す
ることができるようにしたスキーを提供すること
を目的として開発してものである。 この考案でいうアモルフアス(amorphus)合
金とは液状に加熱した合金を高温の状態から急速
冷却し、合金が結晶しないうちに固体化したもの
である。そして、アモルフアス合金の組成は次の
第1表の範囲にある。
