子にゴム筒等の弾性筒体を被嵌してストレート状
のロール形状に構成し、もつて、各回転子の回転
により弾性筒体を、その中間部分より両側に向つ
て巾方向に左右対称的に伸縮可能に構成すると共
に、シヤフトを適宜の位置に回転可能に構成して
ロールの巾出し作用を増減調節できるように構成
したことを特徴とするエキスパンダーロールに係

係から、走行物は最小収縮部付近から最大伸張部
を通過するように設定されることにより、その間
に最大の巾出し作用を受けるものである。また、
この巾出し作用は、ロールの形状がストレート状
に形成されているため、走行物の全巾がロール表
面に接触した状態で全巾に亘り均等に行われるも
