Prior art "Composite brush" invented in Utility Model Publication No. 21294 of 1983
This was developed by the applicant himself to improve the shortcomings of Utility Model Publication No. 49-26985, and is more effective than the latter, which is simply wound (spiral wound) multifilament, coated with adhesive, impregnated, and heat set. It has an excellent cleaning effect and a long service life.

That is, in the composite brush described above, a molten filament resin coating is formed by thermally melting the outer layer of a multifilament that coats the peripheral surface of an abrasive-containing monofilament, so that the bristles do not break due to mutual rubbing of the filaments. The unmelted filament coating remaining on the inner layer is not hardened with adhesive and remains in a state with good dispersibility, resulting in extremely good water retention and wiping effects. There are also advantages such as eliminating the need for adhesive and eliminating the possibility of disintegration due to deterioration of the adhesive.

Problems that the invention aims to solve: Although the above composite brush has the above advantages, it is difficult to process (temperature control, etc.) to uniformly form a molten resin coating layer, and the inner multifilament layer may be excessively melted. There is a problem in that the ideal processing in which the inner layer multifilament remains in a thick state with good handling properties cannot be achieved because the inner layer multifilament is caused to drip and condense.

Function The present invention has two layers of coating on the monofilament core material, and the outer layer multifilament has a lower melting point than the inner layer multifilament, and by creating a difference in melting point, the inner layer multifilament is melted. It is possible to reliably leave a thick layer of unmelted filament without melting, and easily melt only the outer multifilament layer to form a reliable and uniform molten filament resin coating.
Even if there is some variation in heating temperature, the inner layer multifilament will not melt or condense, and even if the inner layer multifilament is melted, only a limited number of filaments at the interface will be melted. It is possible to leave the inner layer multifilament in a thicker state with good dispersibility in the inner layer, providing a high quality composite brush and maximizing the cleaning effect of the composite brush. This makes it easy to control the temperature for forming the molten filament resin coating and the speed at which the filament travels in the heating furnace.

As shown in the figure, a slightly thick abrasive material 1'-containing synthetic resin monofilament 1 is used as a core material, and the peripheral surface of this abrasive material-containing synthetic resin monofilament 1 is made up of multiple layers of thin synthetic resin multifilaments 2a and 2b made of different materials. Coating 2 (as a suitable example, first, a coating is formed by braiding multifilaments 2b in the form of a braid on the peripheral surface of the monofilament 1, and then a coating is formed by braiding the multifilaments 2a in the same braid shape on the outer circumferential surface of the coating. (Fig. 1 shows a single brush material 3 showing the braided state of each braided coating.) In the multifilament coating 2, the outer layer of the multifilament coating is filament 2
A is made of a multifilament of a material with a lower melting point than the multifilament 2b of the inner layer part to form a multilayer coating 2 with different melting points of the inner and outer layers, and by heating and melting the low melting point outer multifilament 2a, the outer layer part A molten filament resin coating 2a' is formed on the inner layer, and an unmelted filament resin coating 2b' remains on the inner layer portion, and this is processed into a wave-shaped curved brush single material 4 as shown in FIG.

Thus, the abrasive-containing synthetic resin monofilament 1
is the core, and the inner layer multifilament 2b is placed around the unmelted filament coating 2.
A composite brush is constructed in which the unmelted filament coating layer 2b' is further surrounded by a molten filament resin coating layer 2a' formed by melting the multifilament 2a made of the low melting point material.

Therefore, when polyethylene multifilament 2b is used for the inner layer, theoretically there is a temperature of 100°C between it and the outer multifilament 2a (nylon).
A similar melting point temperature difference is created, the inner layer multifilament 2b is not melted and the unmelted filament coating layer 2b' remains accurately and thickly, and only the outer layer multifilament 2a is easily melted, resulting in a reliable and beautiful melted filament. A resin coating layer 2a' can be formed. Furthermore, in the embodiment, an extremely thin filament was used for the outer layer multifilament 2a of the coating 2 to further enhance the meltability, and a thicker filament than the above was used for the inner layer multifilament 2b to exhibit the required wiping effect.

Effects of the invention As explained above, the invention has two layers for the coating 2 of the monofilament 1 which is the core material, and the multifilament 2a in the outer layer has a lower melting point than the multifilament 2b in the inner layer, so that there is a difference in melting point. By doing this, the inner layer multifilament 2b is not melted and is reliably left thick as the unmelted filament resin coating 2b', and only the outer layer multifilament 2a is easily melted to ensure a reliable and beautiful molten filament resin coating 2a'. Even if there is some variation in heating temperature, the inner layer multifilament 2b will not melt or condense, and even if the inner layer multifilament 2b is melted, the interface Only a limited portion of the filament needs to be melted.
The inner layer part multifilament 2b can be left in the inner layer part in a thicker state with good dispersibility, the high quality composite brush can be provided, and the effects of the composite brush can be maximized. In addition, when forming the molten filament resin coating 2a', the heating temperature may simply be set to the melting point of the outer layer multifilament 2a, and the temperature control for forming the molten filament resin coating 2a' and the running speed in the heating furnace can be controlled. Control becomes extremely easy.

As described above, the composite brush according to the present invention reliably melts the outer layer multifilament 2a with a low melting point to form a uniform molten filament resin coating 2a', and warps the inner layer multifilament 2b with a high melting point. The unfused filament coating layer 2b' can be left between the abrasive-containing monofilament 1 and the outer fused filament resin coating layer 2a', and this is exposed from between 1 and 2a', making it easy to wash. be effective. Therefore, the water-holding effect due to capillary action by the inner layer multifilament 2b between the molten filament resin coating layer 2a' and the monofilament 1 is also improved.
Coupled with the polishing action of the monofilament 1, a good polishing and cleaning effect is exhibited, and the effects of the above-mentioned conventional device can be fully exhibited.
