The time required for over-drying by this method is inversely proportional to the overpressure, proportional to the width of the chamber, ie, the square of the distance between the cloths, and inversely proportional to the size of solid particles in the muddy water. In many cases, the ground consists of alternating layers of sandy soil and clayey soil, so the mud discharged during excavation may contain mainly coarse particles or mainly fine particles. The quality of the mud changes as the excavation progresses.

However, in both conventional double-type and single-type filter presses, a chamber is formed by stacking plates and frames covered with cloth, and muddy water mixed with earth and sand is fed into the chamber under pressure, and the cloth is used to pressurize the press. Although it has the function of filtering water and separating it from soil and sand, the width of the chamber cannot be changed, and the current situation is that the room remains in the same room regardless of changes in the quality of the mud. It is.

Therefore, when mud is dewatered using a filter press, the time required for dewatering varies depending on changes in the mud quality, making it difficult to perform dewatering at a constant rate, or the dewatering rate is inconsistent, making it difficult to perform excavation work or clearing the remaining soil. There are problems such as quality problems.

The following explanation will be given based on drawings showing an embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 1 shows a single filter press.
This is a cross-sectional view with some parts omitted. Reference numeral 1 denotes overboards arranged in parallel, and the peripheral edges of the overboards 1, 1 protrude on both sides to form a frame-like frame 1a, and the central part is provided with a muddy water undiluted solution supply. It has a circular hole 2 serving as a passage, and a large number of grooves 3 for guiding excess water are formed on both sides, and both sides are covered with cloth 4. Further, a Y-shaped through hole 5 is provided in the lower part of the pass plate 1, so that excess water guided along the groove 3 can be discharged. Reference numeral 6 denotes a frame member interposed between the above-mentioned overboards 1, 1, and the frame member 6 includes:
As shown in FIG. 2, it has approximately twice the size of the above-mentioned overplate 1, and one half 6A thereof is provided with a stock solution flow hole 7 that communicates with the circular hole 2 of the above-mentioned overplate 1. A wire mesh 8 and cloth 9 are pasted together to form an oversurface, and a window hole 11 surrounded by a frame 10 is provided in the other half 6B. A slit 12 is provided below the upper surface of the frame member 6 to drain excess water from the upper surface downward. The thickness of this frame member 6 is selected depending on the quality of the muddy soil, and if the excavated soil has a large sand component, the frame member 6 with a large thickness is selected.
It is desirable to use the drainage slit 2 described above in the frame member 6 having a large thickness.
It is preferable that the grooves be provided in the form of grooves on both sides as shown in FIG.

The wire mesh 8 attached to the upper surface of the frame member 6 is used to form a gap between the flat surface of the frame member 6 and the cloth 9 for water passing through the cloth 9. Yes, therefore, the frame member 6
When a large number of vertical grooves are cut into the flat surface of the wire mesh 8, the wire mesh 8 does not necessarily have to be interposed therebetween. Further, it is desirable that the size of the window hole 11 in the other half portion 6B of the frame member 6 is approximately the same as that of the portion surrounded by the frame portion 1a of the overboard 1;
1 is located between the overplates 1 and 1, the volume of the chamber can be significantly increased. Reference numeral 13 indicates a hole provided in the center of the cloth 9, and a similar hole is provided in the wire mesh 8 so that the slurry solution can pass therethrough. Further, 14 is a fixed end plate, and 15 is a supply path for the slurry solution.

Next, the function of the filter press of the present invention will be explained. When super-dehydrating muddy solution mixed with excavated earth and sand, the above-mentioned frame member 6 and filter press 1 are used.
are arranged alternately on the side surface of the fixed end plate 14, and a movable end plate (not shown) arranged at the end thereof is pressed against the fixed end plate 14 side by cylinder means or the like, as shown in FIG. The frame portion 1a of the plate 1, the cloths 4 and 9, the wire mesh 8, and the overplate 6 are brought into close contact with each other by pressure, thus forming a chamber 16 solidified by the cloths 4 and 9 and the frame portion 1a of the overplate 1. . When the slurry stock solution is pressurized and supplied to this filter press from the muddy water stock solution supply path 15 into the circular hole 2, the circulation hole 7, and the hole 13, the water filtered from the muddy water stock solution by the overaction of the cloth 4 is passed through the filter press. Water that passes through the groove 3 of the frame member 6 to the through hole 5, flows out from the through hole 5, and similarly passes through the cloth 9 of the frame member 6 is also passed through the wire mesh 8.
The water is guided to the slit 12 through the gap and flows out to the outside. When the chamber 15 is filled with earth and sand and sufficiently dehydrated, the movable end plate (not shown) is restored by the cylinder means, and the over-plates 1 and frame members 6 that were in pressure contact are sequentially separated and remain in the chamber 16. Allow the cake of soil and sand to fall naturally or forcefully.

If the excavated soil has a large sand content and is easier to clean than clay, the cylinder means is operated to lower the frame member 6 and open the window hole 11.
If this part is located inside the filter press and its frame 10 is held between the frames 1a of the overplates 1, 1 to carry out overaction, a large volume chamber 20 will be created inside the filter press. It is formed and performs a dehydration action suitable for the sand quality. Adjustment of the volume of the chamber 20 by the frame member 6 is achieved by disposing a plurality of frame members 6 between each of the overboard plates 1, 1, and placing one half 6A of each frame member 6 and the other half 6B in the filter press. This can be done by appropriately selecting the number of positions.

In the above embodiment, the muddy water undiluted solution supply channel is provided in the center of the filter press, but the present invention can also be applied to a double filter press in which the muddy water undiluted solution is supplied from the outside as shown in FIG. Of course you can get it.

In this way, the filter press according to the present invention has a plurality of overboard plates 1, 1 arranged in parallel, each having a size approximately twice that of the overboard plate 1, and one half 6A of which is provided with cloth 9. Since the frame member 6 is formed with a side surface and is provided with a window hole 11 having a size corresponding to the size surrounded by the frame portion 1a of the side plate 1 in the other half 6B, the frame By simply adjusting the member 6 by moving it up and down or left and right, the volume of the chamber 20 can be changed and the overfunction of the filter press can be changed depending on the quality of the excavated mud. Therefore, the time required during excavation can be set to be approximately constant regardless of changes in the soil quality, and the water content of the soil after dewatering will not change significantly, and changes in the over-draining work will not be affected. This eliminates the inconvenience of hindrance to excavation work.
