The air cylinder 13 is operated, and the stop plate 15 is moved upward as shown in FIG. 12, so that its upper end is engaged with the engagement member 19 above the air cylinder 13. Then, this plate material W is sent rearward while being held between a large number of feed rollers 5 and press rollers 8. The tip of the plate material W that has been sent backwards is located at the rear stopper 1.
When the light reaches just before the stop plate 15 of No. 2, the phototube switch consisting of the projector 81 and the light receiver 82 above and below the support frame 2 is activated, and the air cylinder 24 at the front of the support frame 2 is activated. Note that since the feed roller 5 continues to rotate regardless of the operation of the phototube switch, the central portion of the tip of the plate material W hits the stop plate 15 of the rear stopper 12 immediately after the activation of the phototube switch, and its subsequent movement is stopped. In this case, if the length of the plate material W is longer than a predetermined length, this error will be absorbed by the movable regulating plate 28. When the plate material W is completely fixed as described above, the limit switch is activated, the motor 59 on the fixed frame 50 is started, the hydraulic cylinder 61 is activated, and at the same time, the rotating brush 7 of each colored member 68 is activated.

Therefore, when the motor 59 is started, the pair of left and right rotating shafts 65 are rotated from the pulley 60 via the pair of belts 67, and this rotation causes the pair of upper and lower pulleys 70, 71 and belt 72 of each coloring member 68 to be rotated. Each rotating brush 75 is rotated through the rotating brush 75.
Paint is supplied to this rotating brush 75 from a supply member 79. Furthermore, due to the operation of the hydraulic cylinder 61, the pair of mounting members 54 connected to the rods 62 are moved to the left along the three guide rods 52, so that the hanging members at both ends and the center of the mounting members 54 are moved to the left. The pair of left and right rotating shafts 65 are simultaneously moved to the left via 53.

At the time of such coloring, as shown in FIG. 14, the cam followers 78 ride on the plate cams C1 and C3 and the rotating brushes 75, which were initially located above and away from the upper surface of the plate W, move to the left. As the cams fall from the plate cams C1 and C3, they come into contact with the lateral grooves Y of the plate W, and the grooves Y are colored.

Further, during the coloring process, each rotating brush 75 moves along the coloring groove 48 of each formwork 46 provided in the regulating member 9, and each coloring groove 48 has a length corresponding to a pair of settings provided at both left and right ends. Since the plate 49 is set to match the length of each lateral groove Y of the plate material W, it is possible to prevent the colored portion from protruding laterally from the lateral groove Y.

When both rotating shafts 65 are moved to the left and the initial coloring of each lateral groove Y of the plate material W is completed, the limit switch 64 on the left in front of the hydraulic cylinder 61 is operated and the rod 62 of the cylinder 61 begins to retreat. Therefore, the rotating shaft 65 returns to the right together with the pair of attachment members 54. At this time, since the rotating brush 75 continues to rotate and the paint continues to be supplied, the lateral grooves Y of the plate material W are colored again.

In addition, when the first coloring is completed as described above, the cam followers 78 of each coloring member 68 ride on the plate cams C2 and C4, and the rotating brush 75 is pushed up, as shown in FIG. is prevented.

When both rotating shafts 65 return to the right and reach their original positions, the right limit switch 64 is activated to stop their rightward movement. At the same time, the power to the motor 59 is turned off, the rotation of the rotating brush 75 is stopped, and the supply of paint from the supply member 79 is also stopped. Furthermore, when the limit switch 64 is activated, the operation of the pair of air cylinders 39 for moving the movable frame 33 upward is stopped, and the pair of connecting rods 38 and the arm 36 are rotated downward, so that the movable frame 33 also moves upward. It is lowered to the position shown in Figure 3. Then, as the movable frame 33 descends, the plate material W, which has been pressed against the lower surface of the regulating member 9 by the pressing member 42 on the movable frame 33, is lowered onto the feed roller 5 while remaining on the pressing member 42.

Effects As detailed above, the present invention includes a feeding device for feeding the plate material W to a grooving position and feeding the plate material W backward after grooving, and a device for fixing the plate material W so as not to be movable at the grooving position. A plate material consisting of a fixing device and a coloring device for coloring a plurality of grooves Y that extend in a direction intersecting the transport direction of the plate material W on the surface of the plate material W in a fixed state and have mutually different lengths. In the groove coloring machine, a plurality of coloring members 68 are moved all at once in the direction in which they extend along each of the grooves Y by a length equal to the length of the longest groove Y, and each coloring member 68 is moved up and down. A paint supply member 79 for supplying paint to the rotary brushes 75, and a paint supply member 79 that pushes up the brushes 75 upward at a position where each rotary brush 75 is removed in the direction in which each groove Y extends, and the rotary brushes 75 are moved into the groove Y. Since the rotary brush is configured with a cam device to prevent contact with the brush, it is possible to color a plurality of grooves of different lengths at the same time while the rotary brush is kept rotating.
