A reflector 115 formed by vacuum-depositing aluminum on the upper surface of the base material 1 is provided between the reflector 115 and the base material 1. To manufacture the thread shown in FIG. 2, first prepare a carrier sheet 6 having at least a two-figure structure, with one side covered with a plastic layer 6a such as a heat-melting polyethylene film, and this plastic layer 6a. The transparent globules 3 are attached to the layer by heating (see Section 3). How to wear this transparent small ball 3 is as follows.
As shown in the figure, the rolled up carrier sheet 6 is pulled out by a pull-out roll 7, a countless number of transparent globules 3 are stored in the WIs, and heated to 120'C to 200°C by entering the tank 8. A heated thermo roll 9 is arranged, and the carrier sheet 6 drawn out from the pull-out roll 7 passes through this thermo roll 9, and the transparent globules 3 are adhered to the plastic layer 6a in the bath 8. The carrier sheet 6 to which the transparent globules 3 are attached is taken off by a take-up roller 10. Heat〇-
When the carrier sheet 6 is stretched over the roll 9, the thermofusible plastic book 116a is placed on the outside, and the other layer 6b is placed in contact with the roll side. And this heat roll 9 is heated to 120°C.
Because it is heated to 200℃, the plastic M6
aS melts and gives 4J of stickiness, and this stickiness causes the transparent globules in the tank 8 to adhere to the Plus Deck M6a. By passing between the pair of pressure rolls ii and 11 on the way to the take-up roll 10, the transparent pellets 3 attached to the plastic ll6a can be buried in the plastic 1laa. I'm friendly. The degree of embedding of the transparent small sphere 3 into the plastic 16a is as follows.
It is preferably about one third of the spherical diameter. Carrier sheet equipped with transparent globules 3 produced in this way]-

のである。The production of the index thread shown in FIG. 1o involves first attaching the transparent beads 3 to the plastic 16a of the carrier sheet 6 in the same manner as shown in FIG. Apply. This adhesive ~1 preferably has the following composition: urethane resin...23.5 parts by weight vinyl chloride.
Vinyl acetate copolymer resin...20 parts Methyl ethyl ketone...106.51i 1 part Evogishi resin...0.75 parts! Part Ii Dimethylformamide... 75 parts Oku pearl luster pigment platelet... 100 parts by weight Pearl luster pigment platelet (Reflector 1
As for 3), base lead carbonate etc. are used, and the size is about 8 to 25 microns and the thickness is 40 to 200 microns.
Things on the order of millimicrons are mixed into the adhesive. The adhesive mixed with the pearlescent pigment platelets is applied so as to cover the transparent small spheres 3. The coating thickness of the adhesive mixed with this pearlescent pigment platelet is about 150 microns.
It is thick. Methyl ethyl ketone and dimethyl formamide are solvents in the composition, and during volatilization of these solvents, the characteristics of the pearlescent pigment platelets are that they are arranged in multiple layers surrounding the transparent globules. When the pearlescent pigment platelets are arranged in multiple layers so as to surround the buried portion of the transparent small sphere 3, the light rays that are refracted and incident on the transparent small sphere 3 are reflected by the pearlescent pigment platelets. Upon hitting the plate, a portion is reflected, the remainder is transmitted, and upon hitting the next pearlescent pigment platelet, a portion is likewise reflected and the remainder is transmitted. The light reflected by the pearlescent pigment platelets in each layer is refracted and passed through the transparent small spheres 3 and is retroreflected. The characteristics of these pearlescent pigment platelets with respect to light, in which some of them are reflected and some of them are transmitted, realize a multilayered reflection effect of light. Pearlescent pigment platelets are transparent small spheres 3
Surrounding the buried part of and arranged in multiple layers are:
When applying the adhesive, a parallel viscous flow occurs due to the displacement movement between the coated surface and the brush due to the action of operating force such as brush coating or knife coating, and this viscous flow causes the pearlescent pigment platelets in the adhesive to become parallel. However, due to the presence of the transparent globules 3, a viscous flow occurs in the adhesive along the transparent globules 3, which disturbs the parallel alignment of the pearlescent particles, and the transparent globules 3 The array is along the spherical surface. To explain in detail the above-mentioned retroreflection effect, transparent small sphere 3
When pearlescent pigment platelets are arranged around the buried part of 3
The light L2 is refracted and reflected toward the light source (the first
(See Figure 1). In other words, retroreflection is performed which returns to the direction of the light source. When the transparent pellet 3 is not absorbed by JHi, the pearlescent pigment platelets are arranged in parallel, and the light that hits them is multi-reflected as shown in Figure 12(a), resulting in strong reflection and pearlescent luster. However, if metal powder is mixed instead of the pearlescent pigment platelets, the light will be scattered as shown in FIG. 12(b). This has long been known as a property of pearlescent pigment platelets. In addition, the pearlescent pigment platelet is shown in Fig. 12(a).
As shown in Figure 3, the hiding power is extremely small, and the light is repeatedly reflected while passing through several layers of pearlescent pigment platelets. This property of extremely low hiding power means that while metal powders have a blackish tinge, making it difficult to mix them into beautiful colors, pearl pigments can be mixed freely without creating a blackish tint. It is guaranteed. In this way, transparent small balls 3 are placed on
J i? Then, this transparent small sphere 3 was coated with an adhesive mixed with a reflective material 13 made of pearlescent pigment platelets, and a similar base material 1 was bonded under pressure as shown in FIG. Sazeru. Then, by peeling off the carrier sheet 1-6, a grooved sheet as shown in FIG. 10 is obtained. The light-reflecting thread 12 can be obtained by narrowing this sea by a [tFi.

When this is used as a curtain, when light hits this curtain, due to the presence of the light-reflecting threads 12, The incident light is retro-reflected so as to return to the irradiation direction. If such a curtain is attached, for example, to the inner surface of the rear glass of a car, it will retroreflect the lights in the rear view during night driving, thereby preventing unexpected accidents such as rear-end collisions. Further, various types of clothing, cloth personal items, etc. can also be produced using such knitted lace fabrics.

The buried part of the transparent small sphere is plated with a highly reflective substance by means of vacuum deposition S to form a plating layer, and the base material, adhesive layer, Since the thread made by cutting the sheet 1-, which consists of transparent small balls and a plating layer, into thin widths is used alone or in combination with other threads, it is woven or knitted, so that the light incident on this thread is not incident on the transparent small balls. The light hits the plating layer, is reflected, and returns to the light source through the transparent sphere. Further, there is no need to roughly form retroreflective means on the fabric as in the past, and by processing the fabric itself using this thread, it can be used for various purposes.

。In addition, a transparent adhesive layer mixed with a reflective material consisting of transparent flat platelets of pearlescent pigment such as basic lead carbonate is formed on the gutter material, and this adhesive layer has a refractive index of at least 1.9. A transparent small sphere having at least one-third of its diameter is embedded and fixed, and the reflective material is arranged in multiple layers as a characteristic of the pearlescent pigment platelet so as to surround the buried part of the transparent small sphere, and the multilayer Forming a multi-reflective layer, knitting using a thread obtained by cutting a sheet consisting of the base material, an adhesive layer, transparent globules, and a multi-layer multi-reflective layer into thin widths alone or in combination with other threads,
Or, in the case of woven materials, as in the previous invention, there is no need to form retroreflective means on the fabric, etc., and the fabric itself can be processed to create items for various uses. has retroreflective properties. Also, due to the presence of multiple reflective layers, the light incident on the transparent sphere is refracted and passes through the pearlescent pigment platelets. At this time, a portion of the light is reflected by the sawdust of each pearlescent pigment platelet, and the reflected yt passes through the transparent sphere again and returns toward the light source, resulting in extremely excellent reflection characteristics. In addition, since pearlescent pigment platelets have extremely small concealing horns, they can be toned into beautiful colors without taking on a blackish tinge like metal powder.
