前記窪み1aを閉じる外蓋である。外蓋3はその
外周に周溝3aを有し、周溝3aには環状に形成
されたゴム状の防振材4が嵌着されている。防振
材4は外周にクリツプ溝4aが設けられ、そのク
リツプ溝4aと前記窪み1aの内周面に形成した
係合溝2との間を窪み1aの内径よりやゝ大径に
作られた欠円状のクリツプ5で係止してある。

生じる振動を相互に制止する。

1は窪み1aを形成したことにより剛性が増し、
表面の振動が減少して外部へ放散する騒音が減少
する。また、たとえ内部の振動にともなつて比較
的広い面積を持つ窪み1aの底部が振動して騒音
を発しても、その外面にはケース1とは別体に作
られ、弾性的に支持された外蓋3によつて遮音さ
れ、外部へ放散するのが大幅に減少する。よつ
て、良好な遮音性能が得られる。また、エンジン
の組立作業に際しては、ケース1の外面に組立工
具7をあてがい、その面取り部7bに外蓋3を載
せ、上方から押圧して窪み1a内へ押し込むだけ
で組立出来るので、組立が短時間に終了出来、コ
ンベアラインによる組立によく適合するもので、
組立作業が容易に行い得る等の効果がある。
