Abstract

PURPOSE:To utilize a circuit at a high efficiency, by fixing plural outgoing routes which do not rely on time zones and time-zone division outgoing routes at every objective ground and, when all the outgoing routes which do not rely on times zones are closed, selecting an idle line by searching the time-zone division outgoing route of the objective ground. CONSTITUTION:In the time-zone division detouring route table of each objective ground, one day is divided into time zones of 1hr each and changeable detouring routes are registrated at every time zone. If selection of an outgoing route becomes necessary during operation, an idle line is searched in the order of the 1st route, 2nd route, 3rd route,... from the full-day routing table of a corresponding objective ground. When no idle line exists even if the search is made to the final route, the address of the time-zone division detouring route table of the corresponding objective ground registrated at the tailing end and the current time are read and an idle line is searched in the order of priority from the outgoing route of the corresponding time zone of the detouring table, and thus, an idle line is selected.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Purpose of the Invention Industrial Field of Application The present invention relates to a routing method for a telephone switching system.Generally speaking, in a telephone switching system, the shortest outgoing route is determined for each destination, and call congestion is determined. In preparation for a case where the shortest outgoing route becomes unusable due to a failure or the like, a plurality of detour routes are set in advance with priorities assigned.

When selecting an outgoing route during operation, open lines are searched in order from the outgoing route with the highest priority, and if there is no free line even after searching up to the detour route with the lowest priority, it is determined that exchange connection is not possible. Comparison encounter information was being sent to the calling subscriber.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention In the conventional routing system described above, the routing configuration and equipment scale such as the number of lines for each route are usually determined based on the amount of traffic to each destination (busy hour call volume). Therefore, splitting losses are unavoidable from the point of view of effective use of lines.

In particular, when temporal fluctuations in traffic volume tend to vary depending on the destination, the detour route assigned to the destination with low traffic during that time period may be used as a detour route to the destination with high traffic. By configuring a detailed routing configuration for each time period, it should be possible to use the line more efficiently while satisfying the connection service grade for each destination, but conventional methods do not take such consideration into account. .

Means for Solving the Constituent Problems of the Invention The routing method of the telephone exchange system according to the present invention is such that a plurality of outbound routes independent of time zones and outbound routes for each time zone are determined for each destination. When the time zone-independent outgoing route to the destination is completely closed, the system is configured to search out the time zone-specific outgoing route to the destination and select an available line.

以下、本発明の作用を実施例と共に詳細に説明する。Hereinafter, the operation of the present invention will be explained in detail together with examples.

Embodiment FIG. 1 shows an all-day routing table by destination and a detour route by destination and time zone, which are stored in the main memory of an electronic exchange, in a telephone exchange system to which an embodiment of the present invention is applied. FIG. 2 is a conceptual diagram showing an example of the structure of a table.

The all-day routing table by destination is N destinations 1,
2.3...N is created, and each route has a plurality of exit routes registered in priority order at the time of selection, regardless of the time of day. At the end of each destination in each destination/all-day route table, the first address of the time zone detour route table for that destination is registered.

The detour route table by time for each destination divides the day into one-hour time periods, and registers detour routes that may differ for each time period, as shown in Figure 3 for destination-to-destination cases. has been done. This detour route is also registered redundantly in the all-day routing table for other destinations.

An idle line is searched for in the order of the second route, the third route, and so on. If there are no free lines even after the search reaches the final route, the address and current time of the detour route table by time zone of the corresponding destination registered at the end are read, and the corresponding time zone of the detour route table is read. An empty line is searched for and selected in priority order from the outgoing route.

Effects of the Invention As explained in detail above, the present invention is normally assigned as an outgoing route to other destinations, but depending on the time of day due to periodic fluctuations in call volume, the present invention can be used as an outgoing route to other destinations. Since the configuration is such that routes that can be routed are assigned as detour routes for each time period when encountering cold weather for each destination, it is possible to effectively utilize the line while satisfying the connection service grade and improve switching efficiency. The effect is that it can be improved.
