【考案の詳細な説明】 本考案は液量表示装置付の保温式電気ポツトに
関するものである。

従来保温式電気ポツトはわかして保温もできる
ことから手軽でいつでも必要なときにお湯が得ら
れ大変重宝である。特に最近はよりその使い勝手
を向上させようということで、容器内の残水量を
表示できるよう液量表示装置が設けられている。
第1図、第2図に示す如くその液量表示装置5の
代表的なものは上部開口の容器1を内設した外ケ
ース2の適所に縦長状の窓部3を設け、上下端を
ジヨイントパイプ4を介して前記容器1に連通せ
しめた棒状の透明中空管6を前記窓部3に対向せ
しめて外ケース2内に配設した構造である。そし
て容器1内に水が注がれると容器1内の水位と棒
状の透明中空管6の水位とが一致することから、
窓部3を通して容器1内の水位が外部より目視で
きるというものである。しかしこの構造の液量表
示装置5を用いた市販の保温式電気ポツトは実際
に使用して大変その水位が見にくいものである。
すなわち水が透明である点も見にくい原因の一つ
であるが透明中空管6が外ケース2の内側に位置
するため、丁度その部分が暗くなるためである。
ちなみに透明中空管6の背面部に模様を画いた紙
等を配置し、水位が上つた部分の透明中空管6の
レンズ効果で水位をはつきりさせようと試みたも
のであるが、このような配慮をしても透明中空管
部分が暗くまだ水位が見にくいという認知性に欠
点があつた。

パイロツトランプでこのパイロツトランプ8は透
明中空管6近傍の下端背面部に鏡面板7を介して
このパイロツトランプ8からの光が鏡面板7で反
射されたとき透明中空管6の中心が反射角となる
如くほぼ中心を照らす位置にパイロツトランプ8
を配置したものである。またこのパイロツトラン
プ8は図示してないが図路構成上、保温式電気ポ
ツトの通電中は点灯しているものである。9は反
射板で、パイロツトランプ8の鏡面板7側と相対
する位置に設け、鏡面10を持つものである。尚
パイロツトランプ8および反射板9は図示してな
いが容器1に設けたホルダーに支えられているも
のである。この保温式電気ポツトの使用状態にお
いては容器1内に水が入れられると同一水位で透
明中空管6にも水が入り込むとともに通電中には
パイロツトランプ8が点灯することからこの光が
ジヨイントパイプ5内に配置した鏡面板7を照ら
しこの鏡面10で反射された光が透明中空管6内
を照らすので、いわゆる液量表示部にランプが点
灯した状態となる。またパイロツトランプ8の鏡
面板9側と相対する側に反射板10を設けたこと
でより一層透明中空管6の内部が明るくなる。な
お従来の如き透明中空管6の背面に模様を画いた
紙を配置すれば透明中空管6内部が明るいことか
らレンズ効果でより一層ひき立つものとなる。
