PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect instantly the quantity and the direction of the rotation speed, by using a generator linked to a steering system (tachogenerator) as a steering rotation detecting device to detect the rotation speed of the steering system. CONSTITUTION:The captioned device generates motor control signals by a motor control signal generating device 64 depending on the outputs of a steering torque detecting device 41 to detect the steering torque of the steering system and a steering rotation detecting device 45 to detect the rotation speed of the steering system. And the control signal is corrected in a correcting device 66 depending on the output of a power supply voltage detecting device 65, and a motor driving device 55 is controlled by the said control signal after correction. In this case, a generator 16a rotated linking to the input shaft of the steering device is used as a steering rotation detecting device 45, and one output terminal thereof is connected directly to an A/D converter 47, while the other terminal is connected to the A/D converter 47 through a constant voltage circuit 70.

The steering rotation detection means in this conventional electric power steering device is sunk coaxially with the input shaft, and has a plurality of slits formed at equal intervals in the radial direction on the outer circumference thereof. It consists of a light shielding plate and a photocoupler (photoelectric pickup) attached to the steering column so as to sandwich the light shielding plate, and the light transmitted through the light shielding plate is converted into a pulsed electrical signal and detected. By doing so, it is possible to detect, for example, the rotational speed based on the rotation of the steering system.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) However, in the rotation detection device of such a conventional electric power steering device, since the rotation speed of the steering system is generally as low as about 100 rpm at the maximum, the speed etc. information for 1a hour (several p sec

It becomes difficult to improve the responsiveness of the dynamic power steering device (7). Furthermore, since the electric power steering device has many rotating elements, sliding elements, etc., lubricating grease is used in those parts, and this grease blocks the light from the rotation detection device. If the light is reflected or diffusely reflected, there is a risk that an error will occur in the detected value, making it impossible to obtain a good steering feeling.

Therefore, the present invention has been made to solve these conventional problems, and its purpose is to easily detect information such as the rotational speed of the steering system in a short period of time. Js reduces the responsiveness of the steering system and also causes detection errors due to the influence of grease, etc.
An object of the present invention is to provide an electric power steering device having a steering rotation detection means that can always provide a good steering feeling without any trouble.

(Means and operations for solving the problems) In order to solve the problems described in -, the present invention provides a steering torque detection means (41) for detecting the steering torque of the steering system, and a steering torque detection means (41) for detecting the rotational speed of the steering system. In an electric power steering device comprising a steering rotation detection means (45) and a motor drive means (55) for driving an electric motor based on detection signals from rain detection means (41) and (45), the steering rotation detection means Since the means (45) is a generator (tachogenerator) connected to the steering system, for example, the rotational speed of the steering system is set as a DC voltage, and its direction is set as a DC voltage.
N is obtained by the polarity of the voltage, and the magnitude and direction of the rotational speed can be obtained instantaneously. Furthermore, since no optical system or the like is required, it is not affected by grease or the like, and there is no possibility of detection errors occurring.

), and the other output terminal is connected to an A/D converter (47) via a constant voltage circuit (70). The constant voltage circuit (70) is composed of a resistor RO connected to the A power supply of the power supply circuit of the control device (20) and a Zener diode-FZD connected in series with the resistor RO, and a voltage applied to the Zener diode ZD. The voltage Vz becomes a preset constant value. Therefore, as shown in FIG.
Of the output signals S3 and 54 input to the converter (47), the output signal S4 becomes a constant voltage Vz, and the generator (
The output signal 53 induced by 1B, a) is at a predetermined voltage v
As a result, the A/D converter (47) can process the signal based on the predetermined voltage value Vz, and the steering rotation speed can be adjusted by using the positive power supply as the eight power supply. can be detected, a negative power supply can be made unnecessary, and the power supply circuit can be made into a cylinder.

In step P5, in order to determine the acting direction of the steering torque T, it is determined whether it is positive or negative. If it is positive or true, step P6 sets F=0 and proceeds to step P9; if negative, proceeds to step P7, sets F=1, and then steps P
At, absolute value conversion, that is, T=-T processing is performed. Here, F indicates the sign of the steering torque T, that is, the direction of action. In step P9, the contents of the memory whose address is the absolute value T of the steering torque are called. A table 1 is configured in which duty conversion values D(T) are stored. Therefore, in step P9, the contents of the memory corresponding to the address based on the absolute value T of the steering torque, that is, the duty conversion value D (T) of RM.IN, are called, and the process proceeds to step P1G. In step P10, the value of F is determined in order to increment the addressed duty conversion value D(T) by 4.

(Effects of the Invention) As is clear from the explanation below, according to the present invention, since the steering rotation detection means is constituted by a generator,
For example, the rotational speed of the steering system can be obtained as a DC voltage, and its direction can be obtained by the polarity of the DC voltage, so that the magnitude and direction of the rotational speed can be obtained instantaneously. Furthermore, since no optical system or the like is required, there is no possibility of detection errors being caused by grease or the like.

With the addition of a constant voltage circuit, the steering rotation speed can be detected using a single positive power supply, and since the output signals of the generators are subtracted from each other in the subtraction circuit, these output signals s3. Even if noise or changes due to temperature fluctuations are mixed into s4, they cancel each other out, making it possible to improve the noise characteristics and temperature characteristics of the steering rotation detection means.

Further, in the electric power steering device of this embodiment, there is provided an upper pressure detection sensor that detects the power source rE supplied to the motor drive means, and a correction that compensates the motor control signal according to the output signal t3 of the sensor. Since the means is provided, even if the power supply voltage fluctuates, the desired output I/Lux can be obtained without being affected by the fluctuation, and a good steering feeling can always be obtained.
