Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable decrease of the thickness of the head part of a motor fan and compacting thereof, by a method wherein a synchronous motor, having a motor shaft to which a crank is mounted, is mounted to the interior of a neck piece, and a crank is coupled to a main motor holder through a link to enable oscillation of the motor fan. CONSTITUTION:A main motor is held by a main motor holder 12 through which a core rod 11 extends, and is supported to a neck piece 2 togetherwith the holder 12. A synchronous motor 4, to which a crank shaft 8 is mounted, is secured to a boss 14 of the neck piece 2 by means of a screw 13. The one end of a link 15 is attached to a boss part 8a of the crank 8 by means of a screw 16, and the other end to the main motor holder 12 by means of a screw 17. This constitution enables the main motor 1 to be oscillated around a core rod 11 in a specified angle range in a relation between the lengths of a motor shaft 6 of the synchronous motor 4, the core rod 11, and the link 15 and a relation between the pitches of the motor shaft 6 and the boss part 8a of the crank 8, resulting in elimination of mounting of a synchronous motor to the rear of the main motor 1 and compacting of a device.
