A tundish 1 is constructed by lining the inner wall of the container with a refractory material 3 to form a container, and providing a nozzle 4 at the bottom of the container. When the molten material 5 is stored in this tundish 1 and the molten material 5 is flowed out from the nozzle 4,
A vortex is generated in the melt 5 in the tundish 1, and the falling flow 6 from the nozzle 4 becomes turbulent, its flow rate fluctuates, and it falls downward in the form of drops.

There was a problem that metal powder of stable quality could not be obtained. Also, in the case of molten slag, for example,
A certain amount of water is allowed to flow down from the tundish 4, and the falling flow 6
There was also the problem that stable quality could not be obtained when producing fine aggregate by spraying a spray medium on the aggregate.

This partition wall 7 is vertical and is joined to the refractory material 3 forming the inner wall of the tundish, and is also joined and fixed to the refractory material at the bottom. When the melt stored in the tundish with a partition wall flows out from the nozzle 4, a phenomenon occurs in which the melt in the tundish is vortexed around the nozzle 4, but this phenomenon is prevented by the partition wall 7, and The melt flows down from the nozzle 4 in a rectified flow.

前記と同様である。 FIG. 4 shows an example in which two partition walls are provided inside the tundish. In this case, two partition walls 7 facing the nozzle 4 are arranged in a straight line with the nozzle 4 in between, and each partition wall 7 is fixed perpendicularly to the inner wall and the bottom. In this case as well, when a phenomenon occurs in which a vortex is created in the melt around the nozzle 4 in the tundish, the two partition walls 7
This vortex phenomenon will be prevented. Also, the fifth
The figure shows an example in which this invention is applied to a rectangular tundish, in which the partition wall 7 is provided perpendicularly and perpendicularly to the long wall of the tundish, facing the center of the nozzle 4. is the same as above.

Since it is directed toward the center of the nozzle, the vortex around the nozzle is effectively eliminated. In addition, the partition wall in the example is
Although a flat plate is provided vertically, it does not necessarily have to be a flat plate, and there is no problem even if it is slightly curved, and three or four partition walls may be provided. Furthermore, the partition wall does not need to be fixedly installed within the tundish, and may be supported from above the tundish by a separately provided pedestal.
