水道管路の漏水の多くは第1図aに示す直管部
分7Aから発生するが継手部分からも発生する。 Most of the leakage in water pipes occurs from the straight pipe section 7A shown in Figure 1a, but it also occurs from the joints.

A straight pipe joint structure 2 using a straight pipe part, and a T-branch joint structure 4 using a T-shape joint 3 shown in FIG.
There is a joint structure 6 for the bent part using the elbow 5 shown in FIG.
C, 7D, etc., but it also occurs when the socket 1, T-shaped joint 3, or elbow 5 is damaged, or when any part of the pipe portions 7B, 7C, and 7D is cracked or corroded.

た。 Therefore, in some areas, water leakage is measured using a cup using a rubber hose, or the water pipe is cut about 20cm in front of and behind the leakage point and measured indirectly with a Woltmann flow meter.
Both of these methods were time-consuming and could not be expected to accurately measure the amount of water leakage, so there was a need for a leakage measuring device for water pipes that could directly and quantitatively measure the amount of water leakage.
