側部にはリヤホイールエプロン4があるので、そ
の部分のサイドフレーム2は第1図ロに示すよう
にL字状断面に形成され、サイドフレーム2の底
面先端のフランジ部21をリヤホイールエプロン
4に接合固定しサイドフレーム2の立面上端のフ
ランジ部22をリヤフロア1に接合固定して、側
端フランジ部11をリヤホイールエプロン4に接
合固定したリヤフロア1とリヤホイールエプロン
4とL字状断面のサイドフレーム2とで閉断面を
形成しているのが一般的であるが、上記サイドフ
レーム2の屈曲部には丁度クロスメンバ5が設置
されるので、該クロスメンバ5の両側端部が第1

一となつているダブラ3の上側フランジ部31を
フロアパン1bの下面にスポツト溶接W3にて固
着した構成としたものである。

アパンを切れ目なく結合し該サイドフレームとフ
ロアパンの結合強度の著しい向上をはかることが
できるもので、部品数が少く作業性が極めて良好
なることと相俟つて実用上多大の効果をもたらし
得るものである。
