[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a seal defect detection device for sealed packaged products. Sealed packaging is used when there is a risk that the product will move inside the packaging bag and be damaged during product transportation or packaging, or when the product needs to be packaged compactly without bulk. Applicable packaging form.

For example, in the sealed packaging of articles using laminated paper made of paper, plastic, aluminum foil, etc., such as the packaging of photographic materials, direct heat welding using a heater is generally used for the seal. However, often due to factors such as the temperature of the heater or misalignment of the packaging material, poor welding may occur in a portion of the sealing portion. In this way, if a welding failure occurs at the sealing part, air will enter the inside of the packaging bag, making it impossible to achieve the various purposes mentioned above, and
This causes various problems in terms of moisture resistance and quality.

Therefore, when such sealed packaging is carried out, it is necessary to inspect the seal portion for poor welding.

Conventionally, when inspecting such sealed packages for seal defects, it has been common for an inspector to inspect all the sealed packages with the naked eye or by touch.
However, inspection methods that rely on human senses lack reliability, and it is especially difficult to accurately inspect defective products when packaging work is carried out in a dark room, such as when packaging photographic materials. It was hot. For the above reasons, a new detection device that is reliable for quality control has been desired.

The present invention was made to eliminate the above-mentioned conventional drawbacks, and when the suction pad pressed against the surface of the sealed package by the driving means adsorbs the packaging material of the sealed package, there is no sagging of the packaging material. The present invention provides a novel device that detects seal failure by extracting the displacement of the suction pad.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 1, 1 is an air cylinder that lowers the suction pad, 2 is a suction pad push-down bar connected to the piston rod of the air cylinder 1, 3 is a suction pad whose one end 3a is connected to a vacuum suction source, 4 and 5 are push-down bars 2
6 is a spring for raising the suction pad 3, 7a is a proximity switch provided on a part of the guide bar 4, and 7b is a proximity switch 7.
Another proximity switch 8 installed opposite to a is a hermetically packaged product.

Once the sealing is completed, the hermetically packaged product 8 is sent to the present device by a conveyor such as a conveyor. At this time, the suction pad push-down bar 2 descends, and the suction pad 3 is pushed down by the suction pad push-down bar 2 to suction approximately the center of the product 8 (see the dotted line in Figure 2). Thereafter, the air cylinder 1 is operated, and the suction pad push-down bar 2 is raised and returned to its original position. At this time, if the product 8 is normal, the packaging material 8 will not hold the contents 8 as shown in FIG.
Since the suction pad 3 is in close contact with the guide rod 4, the suction pad 3 ends up adsorbing the contents 8b itself, and as a result, the suction pad 3 cannot rise due to the weight of the contents 8b, and falls down together with the guide rod 4. At the point. On the other hand, if the product 8 is abnormal, that is, if the seal part of the product 8 has poor welding, air will flow between the packaging material 8a and the contents 8b, causing the packaging material 8a to sag. As shown in FIG. 3, the suction pad 3 adsorbs the packaging material 8a of the product 8 and is pulled up by the force of the spring 6 by the amount of slack in the packaging material 8a. At this time, the proximity switch 7 along with the guide rod 4
a rises and cooperates with the proximity switch 7b to issue a seal failure detection signal.

When the suction pad 3 suctions the product 8, the air cylinder 1 rises to return to its origin. There is a time period when the signal from the proximity switch 7b is accepted from the time when the rising signal is generated, and this time T 1
If the signal from the proximity switch 7b is received within the seal, it is detected as a seal failure signal. Product 8
If the seal is normal, the suction pad 3 is the product 8.
As mentioned above, it is at the descending point while adsorbing
The proximity switch signal S is not generated within T1 seconds of the seal failure signal acceptance time T. The suction pad 3 is released from suction by inputting a suction release signal Y. As the suction pad 3 rises, a proximity switch signal S2 is generated, but at this time no signal indicating a seal failure is generated. In other words, if a seal failure occurs, the proximity switch signal S 1 will be activated during the seal failure signal acceptance time T 1 second due to the above-mentioned reason.

As described above, when the present detection device is used, even a sealed package with a slight welding defect can be detected reliably and in an extremely short time. Furthermore, since the device configuration is simple, there is an advantage that it can be manufactured at low cost.
