は燃焼室、７は吸気弁座、８は吸気弁、９は主ポ
ート、１０ａ，１０ｂは副ポート、１１は吸気マ
ニホルド、１４ａ，１４ｂは弁体、１５はアクチ
ユエータ、１６はコントロールユニツト、Ｏ１は
燃焼室の中心、Ｏ２は吸気弁座の中心である。

Claims (1)
- シリンダの円周接線方向に沿つて形成され且つ
吸気弁を介して前記シリンダ上端部の燃焼室に連
通すると共にこの燃焼室内に吸気スワール流を発
生させる主ポートと、この主ポートの終端部にそ
れぞれ連通する複数の副ポートと、これら副ポー
トの吸気量をそれぞれ制御する流量制御手段とを
具え、前記吸気弁の軸心と前記シリンダの軸心と
を含む平面を境として前記燃焼室への吸気の吹き
出し方向が前記吸気スワール流を減殺する方向と
なる側に前記主ポートの終端部に対する前記副ポ
ートの連通位置をそれぞれ設定したことを特徴と
する可変スワール装置。
