Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、ノーカーボン複写紙における用紙の
所要箇所にのみ部分コーテイングを施す方法に関
するものである。
周知のようにノーカーボン複写紙は、電子供与
性、呈色反応性を有する無色の有機化合物の溶液
を含有するマイクロカプセルと、この発色剤と反
応し着色物質を形成し得る電子受容性の顕色性物
質を利用したものである。
通常ノーカーボン紙は紙面全体に上記二成分の
一方又は両方が塗布されているため複写を望まな
い部分には、当該部分を発色させないように減感
インキを印刷塗布し発色を防止させるか、又は逆
に所要の部分のみに上述二成分の一方を印刷塗布
する方法が行われている。
しかしてこのうち後者の所要部分に印刷塗布を
行う具体的方式としては、顕色性物質をインキ化
しグラビヤ又はフレキソ印刷方式にて部分塗布印
刷を行うものが主である。他方無色呈色性染料を
油に溶解したマイクロカプセルをインキ化する所
謂カプセルスポツト方式については、過去種々の
試みがなされたが印刷塗布方式では印刷機上に於
いてマイクロカプセルがローラー圧力ないしは印
刷圧力により一部が破壊される等の欠点があり優
れた品質のものを得るのに難があつた。
本発明は、この種ノーカーボン複写紙の部分塗
布印刷方法のうち所謂カプセルスポツト印刷方式
に関するものであつて、すなわち複写を望まない
部分に凸版又はフレキソ印刷法により透明なワツ
クス類の如き親油性のインキを印刷し、しかる後
マイクロカプセルを含有した水性塗液をリバース
コーター又はエアーナイフコーターを用いて全面
コーテイングを行うことにより親油性加工を施さ
れていない複写所要部分に親水性のマイクロカプ
セル塗液を選択的に塗布せしめマイクロカプセル
の部分塗布印刷を行わんとするものである。
本発明の方法によると、マイクロカプセルの部
分塗布印刷を得るのに、無色カーボン全面紙の製
造技法であるエアーナイフコート方式を利用する
ことが可能となり塗膜厚の均一な製品が得られる
と共に印刷インキに必要な印刷適性の配慮も不要
となり、塗液のバインダーも広範囲な使用が可能
となるものである。
以下実施例に基づいて本発明の内容につき説明
すると、平米40ｇ厚さの上質紙の裏面に融点70℃
のパラフインワツクスを加熱溶融型インキとし凸
版式カーボン印刷機を用いて複写不要箇所に部分
印刷を施す。次にコアセルベーシヨン法により含
染料油マイクロカプセルを作製する。マイクロカ
プセルスラリー30ｇにバインダーとして10％
PVA水溶液10ｇ、水60ｇを加え水溶性のカプセ
ル塗液を作製する。そして複写不要部分に親油性
処理を施した上質紙の全面にバーコーターを用い
て水溶性カプセル塗液を全面に塗布する。全面塗
布されたカプセル塗液は親油性処理を施さない複
写所要部分に選択的に塗布される。
しかしてマイクロカプセルを部分塗布した上質
紙を熱風乾燥し、顕色紙を重ねてタイプ印字を行
つたところ所要部分にのみ複写が得られた。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １ 用紙の部分コーテイング不要の箇所に予め透
    明な親油性のインキを用いて印刷を施し、しかる
    後親水性の塗液を用紙の全面にコーテイングする
    ことにより、所要部分にのみ親水性の無色呈色性
    染料を油に溶解したマイクロカプセル塗液が選択
    的に付着するようにしたことを特徴とするノーカ
    ーボン複写紙の部分コーテイング方法。
