簡単な、自動テンシヨン装置が好まれるようにな
つてきた。第4図はその例で、図中21はチエイ
ンケース22の上部に設けた回転軸に軸支したス
プロケツト23と、下部に軸架した転輪とに巻回
したチエインで、チエインケース22に枢着した
テンシヨンアーム24の先端に、回転輪25を設
け、該回転輪25によつて、チエイン21を内側
から張圧するようにしたものである。この場合チ
エインケースの中に回転輪を設けるためには、チ
エインケースを広幅に形成する必要がある。また
回転輪の支軸が貫通する長孔26には、指先など
を挿入する恐れもあるので、第5図の様に、ケー
ス22の背面側にスリツトを刻設したゴムプレー
