That is, when a pressing pressure is applied to the abutting portions of the left and right base plates, there is a problem in that when the base plates are lightweight, they unexpectedly rotate in the folding direction. For this reason, conventional folding tables are generally used only for tables where the above-mentioned center load does not apply, or even if it does, the load is light and does not pose a problem (for example, table tennis tables), The reality is that they are rarely used on workbenches where loads are applied.

The purpose is to provide an inward folding type folding table.

It is equipped with a folding mechanism that connects the two base plates so that they can be folded inwards at their abutting portions, and left and right legs that are foldably pivoted to the lower surfaces of both base plates. , is pivotally connected via left and right horizontal bars provided below the base plate in parallel with the base plate, and a horizontal bar connecting body provided straddling the two horizontal bars at the abutting portion of the base plate. In the inward folding type folding table, a lock pin is provided in a portion of the left and right horizontal bars on the distal side of the pivotal connection portion to the horizontal bar connecting body, and a pair of hook-shaped hooks that can be engaged with and detached from the lock pins are provided on the horizontal lever connecting body. A slider equipped with an engaging portion and capable of sliding in the left-right direction is provided, and a lever for sliding the slider in a direction in which the engaging portion is disengaged from the lock pin. An inclined guide surface for sliding the slider is provided so that the engaging portion and the lock pin are automatically engaged at the end of the operation, and the engaging portion is connected to the lock pin between the slider and the horizontal rod connecting body. The invention resides in an inward folding type folding table provided with a spring that exerts a spring force in an engaging direction.

Due to this action and the rotation regulating action of the third links 12, 12, as shown in FIG. Finally, as shown in FIGS. 5B and 6, the two surfaces are folded into an upright position facing each other at a predetermined distance. Note that the pin 14 that pivotally connects the intersection of the first links 10, 10 to the horizontal rod connecting body 9 is as follows:
Along with the folding operation, it moves down inside the long hole 13, and when the folding is completed, it is located at the lower end of the long hole 13 and exerts a stopper action. This prevents the base plates 1 and 2 from rotating further inward than the parallel state. Therefore, there is no risk that the base plates 1 and 2 will bump into each other or that fingers will be caught between the base plates.

rotation is prevented, and the entire support is locked in the deployed state. At this time, the lever 23 is in a vertically hanging position. When folding the table from this state, the slider 17 is slid by rotating the lever 23 as shown in FIG. The lock is thus released, and in this state, by pushing down the abutting portions of the base plates 1 and 2, the entire base can be folded as described above. on the other hand,

By the action of the spring 22, the engaging portions 18, 19 and the lock pins 15, 16 are engaged, and the lock pins 15, 16 are automatically locked.

For this reason, it can be fully used as a workbench or the like on which a large load is applied. Furthermore, the deployment lock is automatically performed, and the lock can be easily released by simply operating a lever.

In the first embodiment, the lever 23 that has been operated to the unlocked position is held in that position with one hand, while the base plates 1 and 2 are folded with the other hand. In contrast, in the second embodiment, the lever 23, ie, the slider 17, can be automatically held at the unlocked position. That is, to explain only the differences from the first embodiment, a lock release holder 27 is attached to the inside of the slider 17 so as to overlap one of the engaging portions 19 so as to be rotatable around a support shaft 28. The holder 27 is provided with a protrusion 29 projecting obliquely upward, an inclined surface 30 including a side surface of the protrusion 29, and a recess 31 that can engage with the lock pin 16 inside the protrusion 29. There is. 32 is a notch provided on the top surface of the holder; 33
is a stopper pin located in the notch 32 and protruding from the slider 17, which allows the holder 27 to be
The amount of rotation is regulated within a certain range. Further, 34 is a tension coil spring that applies rotational force to the holder 27, and is tensioned between the slider 17 and the lower end of the holder.

め、折畳み操作がより簡単となる。 In the unfolded state, the holder 27 is in a state in which the recess 31 is engaged with the lock pin 16, as shown in FIG. 8A. At this time, the spring 34
Since the axis of the holder is deviated from the holder support shaft 28 to the right in the direction shown in the figure, the tensile force of the spring 34 acts on the holder 27 with a rotating force in the direction of the arrow A in FIG. When the lever 23 is operated to slide the slider 17 from this state, the holder 27
moves together with the slider 17, and as its protrusion 29 is pushed down by the lock pin 16, the holder 27 once rotates in the direction opposite to the arrow A direction against the spring 34, and is removed from the lock pin 16. At this time, it returns to its original state as shown in FIG. 8B. In this state, the protrusion 29 of the holder 27 is attached to the lock pin 1.
6, thereby preventing the holder 27 and the slider 17 from returning to their original positions. In this way, slider 17 and lever 23 are automatically held in the unlocked position. Therefore,
Since it is not necessary to hold the lever 23 in the unlocked position with one hand as in the case of the first embodiment, the folding operation becomes easier.

状態に保持される。 When the table is folded and rotated in the unlocked state, the lock pin 16 moves downward along a predetermined trajectory, and as the pin 16 moves, the inclined surface 30 of the holder 27 is pulled back from the lock pin 16 by the pulling back action of the spring 22. , the slider 17 moves toward its original position. During this slider movement, the holder 27 is pushed by the lock pin 16 through the inclined surface 30 and rotates, and when the lock pin 16 reaches the lower end of the inclined surface 30, as shown in FIG.
It rotates to an angular position regulated by the notch 32 and stopper pin 33. This rotation of the holder 27 causes the axis of the spring 34 to shift to the left of the center of the support shaft 28, so that from now on the holder 27 receives a rotational force in the direction of arrow B in FIG. 8C due to the spring 34. This holds the holder 27 in the state shown in the figure.

The slider 17 slides against the spring 22 due to the guiding action of the springs a and 19a. Therefore, the lock pin 16 rises along the inclined surface 30 of the holder 27 from the position shown in FIG.
6 reaches above the protrusion 29 of the holder 27, the slider 17 moves back due to the tensile force of the spring 22, and the lock pin 16 engages with the recess 31 of the holder 27. By this engagement, the holder 27 is rotated back to the state shown in FIG. 8A.

However, this lock release holding mechanism is an additional mechanism to the deployment lock mechanism and is not an essential requirement for the present invention, and the intended purpose of the present invention can be sufficiently achieved even without this mechanism. . Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the unfolding lock mechanism and the folding mechanism are centrally provided at the same location with the horizontal rod connecting body 9 being shared by both mechanisms, but these two mechanisms are separately provided. You can. Furthermore, the folding mechanism can be modified in various ways other than those mentioned in the above embodiments. On the other hand, although it is of course desirable to provide the deployment lock mechanism on both the front and rear sides, the intended purpose of the present invention can be fully achieved even if the deployment lock mechanism is provided on only one of the front and rear sides. In addition, the lever 23 for slidingly operating the slider 17 is

等、実用上きわめて有益なものである。 As described above, according to the present invention, since the table can be locked in the unfolded state, it becomes possible for the first time as an inward folding type folding table to be used as a table to which a large load is applied, such as a work table. Furthermore, since the unfolding locking action is performed automatically, and the locking upon folding can be easily performed only by operating a lever, the provision of this locking mechanism unnecessarily complicates the operation. It is extremely useful in practice, as there is no danger.
