[Technical background of the invention and its problems] As shown in Fig. 1, a heat shrink tube 2 is engaged with a capacitor case 1 and then heat shrunk to form the exterior. After heat shrinking, whether or not the tube 2 is properly attached is detected by providing opposing contacts AB and CD on both ends of the case as shown in Fig. 1, which are brought into contact with the case and checked for the presence or absence of continuity. With this detection method, only extreme installation defects, such as when one end of the case 1 is exposed as shown in Figs. 2A and B, can be detected.
As shown in Figs. 3A and 3B, slight imperfections in the mounting on either end face of the case 1 could not be detected.

[Summary of the invention] The tube attachment defect detection device of the present invention consists of two U-shaped plates each having a protrusion with an inclined inner surface tapering at the tip of each leg. A drive member that passes through the machine frame perpendicularly to the U-shaped center piece of the machine frame and is reciprocated, and a slide that is fixed perpendicularly to the drive member at the tip of the drive member. A shaft, two sliders that are slidably attached to this slide member and pressed by springs to the inner surfaces of the U-shaped leg pieces of the machine frame, the end face of one slider outside the machine frame, and the other slider. The slider is characterized by having a pair of plate-shaped contacts that are attached to the end faces of the slider in a machine frame so as to be electrically insulated from each other and that are elongated in the driving direction of the driving member.

[Embodiment of the invention] Figures 4A and 4B show an embodiment of the invention. The machine frame 12 fixed to the support member 11 is constructed by connecting two U-shaped pieces at the top and bottom of the central part of the U-shape, and on the inside surface of the tip of each leg of the U-shape, Protrusion 1
3 are provided respectively, and the inner surfaces of these protrusions are sloped so that the protrusions are tapered. Machine frame 1
A drive member 14 is inserted into the machine frame 12 between the center pieces of the U-shaped plates 2 and perpendicularly to the U-shaped center piece, and a slide shaft 15 is inserted at the tip of the drive member 14 perpendicularly to its axis. is installed. The slide shaft 15 has sliders 16 slidably engaged with both sides of the drive member 14 .
A spring 17 is installed between the spring 6 and the spring 17. Further, each slider 16 has a pin 18 protruding in the vicinity of its end on the drive member 14 side in the radial direction and perpendicular to the drive member 14 .

An insulating plate 19 is provided on the end face of one slider outside the machine frame and the end face inside the machine frame of the other slider.
A pair of elongated plate-shaped contact plates 20 are attached in the driving direction of the driving member 14 via the contact plates 20 . Note that the distance between each pair of contact plates is determined by the extent to which the properly installed tube covers the end surface of the case.

When the drive member 14 is retracting, each slider 16 is pressed by a spring 17 and remains stationary with its pin 18 abutting against the leg of the U-shaped plate. Suppose now that a capacitor has entered the device of the present invention. here,
The drive member 14 is advanced. Then, the upper slider in the drawing descends along the slope of the projection 13, and the lower slider rises along the slope of the projection 13. Thereby the contact piece 2 supported by each slider
0 also descends and rises, and comes into contact with the upper and lower end surfaces of the capacitor. The installed state of the tube is detected based on the presence or absence of conduction between the pair of contact pieces, but in the device of the present invention, the detection target is the portion where the tube covers both end faces of the capacitor. Not only extreme mounting defects as shown in FIGS. 2A and B, but also slight mounting defects as shown in FIGS. 3 A and B can be detected.

FIG. 5 is a circuit diagram of the device of the present invention. In this figure, 24 is a reset switch, 25 is an SCR, and 26 is a transistor. Each pair of contact strips 20 is connected in series to the base circuit of a transistor 26. If a capacitor such as that shown in FIG. 3A were to be tested, only the lower slider contacts would be conductive and the upper ones would not. That is,
One pair of contact pieces 20 arranged vertically in FIG. 5 is electrically connected.

This causes transistor 26 to produce an output,
The SCR 25 turns on and a signal S is generated. This signal is taken out as a defective signal, and the product is removed as a defective product in the next process. When the contact piece 20 separates from the capacitor, the area between the contact pieces is electrically turned off, but due to the self-holding property of the SCR, the signal is sent to the next process. Then, check the mechanical timing and turn off the reset switch 24.
Turn off SCR25. By repeating these operations one after another, the state of tube attachment of the capacitors sent one after another is detected.
