本発明は半導体レーザの光出力制御を簡潔にしたレーザ

(従来技術)
最近魂硼eレーザビームを用いて画像を記録するレーザ
記録装置(いわゆるレーザプリンタ)が開発され実用化
されている。レーザ記録装置は画像情報を表わす電気信
号でI/−ザビームを変調して感光体上にレーザビーム
で画像情報を形成し電子写真処理などにより可視像とし
て記録するものである。第3図はこの種のレーザ記録装
置の走査光学系の概略線図である。レーザ管lから発生
したレーザビームはビームエキスパンダレンズ2.4に
よりビーム径が拡大され、音響光学変調器3によって画
像信号により変調され、シリンドリカルレンズ5を通し
て回転多面鏡(ポリゴンと呼ばれている)6に照射され
る。回転多面鏡6は高速回転してレーザビームを偏向し
感光体9上を走査し、その上に記録画像の静電潜像を形
成するが、このときレーザビームはfθレンズ7によっ
て光軸に対する入射角に比例した距離に結像され、シリ
ンドカルレンズ8によって回転多面鏡6の製作土耕けら

路中に遮光手段を設け、この遮光手段を制御して画像書
込み期間中はレーザビームを通過させ、画像書込み期間

ーザ光出力を検知し調整することができ、光出力の制御
