Claims (1)
転写材に転写したのち、該転写材を、互に圧接する定着
ローラ対に搬送する画像形成装置において、転写材が定
着ローラ対に到達したときに、前記転写材を所定時間停
止してこれにループを形成し、以後このループを維持し
ながら転写材を定着ローラ対に進入させるようにした画
像形成装置。In an image forming apparatus that travels in synchronization with a traveling image carrier to transfer an image on the surface of the image carrier onto a transfer material, the transfer material is conveyed to a pair of fixing rollers that are in pressure contact with each other. The image forming apparatus is configured to stop the transfer material for a predetermined period of time to form a loop when the transfer material reaches the fixing roller pair.
