[Detailed description of the invention] This invention sucks indoor air into the main body, passes the air flow through the internal heat exchanger, and blows out cold or warm air from the outlet. This relates to an air conditioner that performs cooling or heating.

Figure 1 shows an example of a conventional air conditioner, where 1 is the front panel, 2 is the front air guide, 3 is the rear air guide, 4 is the air filter frame, and 5 is the rear lower air which also serves as a stopper for the air filter. It is a guide. 6 is a circulating air blower, 7 is a heat exchanger for cooling, 8 is a combustion tube that serves as a heat exchanger for heating, 9 is an air filter, 10 is a blowout grill, 11 and 12 are indoor suction air flows, and 13 is interstitial air. 17 is a drain pan, 18 is a floor surface, and 19 is a main body leg.

Next, to explain the operation, as the circulation blower 6 rotates, the indoor suction air flows 11 and 12 pass through the air filter 9, and indoor dust is removed.
Heat is exchanged by the combustion tube 8 during heating and by the heat exchanger 7 during cooling, and is discharged into the room from the outlet grill 10.

However, in the case of such a conventional structure, the fitting dimensions are usually set quite loosely in order to make it easy to attach and detach the air filter 9, and also, due to warpage etc. that occurs during the manufacturing process of the air filter 9, ,
A gap is created between the front panel 1 and the lower part of the front panel 1, which generates a gap air flow 13 that does not pass through the air filter 9, and indoor dust passes through this gap, causing a heat exchanger for cooling. Even if the fins 7 or the circulation blower 6 become clogged, or the air filter 9 becomes clogged, the amount of air passing through the heat exchanger 7 will not decrease much due to the presence of the gap air flow 13, so overheating will not occur. In some cases, safety devices did not work properly.

In Fig. 3, 14 is a thin film-like sheet made of soft resin, for example, which is adhered to the front panel 1 with double-sided tape, etc., and 15 is a sheet that is fixed in that state even if the adhesive strength of the adhesive decreases. 16 is an operating door.

FIG. 4 is a partial cross section of the lower part of the main body just before the air filter 9 is inserted. This sheet 14 hangs downward as shown in the figure, but when the air filter 9 is inserted along the guide rail 20, Figure 5 (Figure 2)
become that way. Therefore, the gap air flow 13 in FIG. 1 no longer exists, and since the sheet 14 is difficult to see from the front, there is no problem in terms of design. Particularly in terms of design, it is more preferable to use the same color tone as the air filter 9 or the main body.

Since the air conditioner according to this invention is constructed as described above, it is possible to sufficiently compensate for differences in the structure of the air filter or deformation within the normal range, so that all the intake air passes through the air filter and it is normal. It has the advantage of being able to perform various actions.
