Most refractory materials are handled as powder, granules, lumps, or a mixture of these, and most of them get wet with rainwater or seawater during transportation by ship or when unloaded, or are accumulated and stored in outdoor raw material yards. Get wet from the rain inside. Therefore, when it is necessary to dry these before consumption, they are generally spread outdoors and dried in the sun or ventilation, but this requires a sufficiently large area and drying is not possible. It was dependent on the weather, and the spreading and collecting work was largely done manually, creating various problems that needed to be solved. Furthermore, it is conceivable to carry out the above drying using fixed equipment, such as a rotary kiln, but this requires a large economic burden on the installation site and equipment, and also requires measures such as dustproofing, so it is not often used as a practical matter. .

It is heated to 60℃ or higher. This preheated air is guided by a blowing fan to the through hole via a connecting pipe, and air from within the engine room is sent into the drum through the through hole. Inside the drum, the moist magnesia clinker and the like charged therein are scooped up and stirred by the rotation of the drum and the blades inside the drum, and then dried by dry hot air introduced through the holes. The warm air that has absorbed moisture escapes to the outside through the drum's outlet opening, but by controlling the fan so that the air volume does not increase too much, and by attaching a hood to the hopper of the drum's outlet opening, almost no dust is scattered. It will disappear.

ある。 According to another aspect of the invention, the relative dryness can be improved by further warming the air introduced from the engine room by the fan using the waste heat of the engine exhaust gas, and in this case, The engine exhaust gas is moist due to combustion and should not be mixed with the air entering the drum. For this reason, a heat exchanger that uses a part of the engine exhaust pipe as a heating pipe is placed in the supply air flow pipe, thereby further heating the supply air using the waste heat energy of the engine exhaust gas. It is warming.

In FIG. 1, a truck mixer 1 uses a truck mixer as an ordinary concrete mixer vehicle, and a bearing portion 3 of a drum shaft portion of a drum 2 is used as a truck mixer 1.
A through hole 4 is provided on the central axis of the drum shaft to communicate between the inside and outside of the drum,
A blower pipe 5 is connected to the ventilation hole 4 by a rotary joint or the like. Another pipe 7 is attached to communicate with the inside of the engine room 6, and its outlet is connected to the suction side of the blower fan 8. Air inside the engine room 6 can be blown inwards. In the heat exchanger 9, an engine exhaust gas pipe is arranged in the flow path from the blower fan 8 to the blower pipe 5, and the heat of the high temperature exhaust gas flowing in this pipe is applied to the air from the engine room. This is then heated and sent to the pipe 5. In the illustrated example, a pipe 10 from an engine exhaust muffler is connected to the internal pipe of the heat exchanger 9 via a flow distribution valve 11, and an outlet pipe of this pipe leads to an exhaust pipe 12. By operating the lever 13, the distribution valve 11 can switch the engine exhaust gas from the pipe 10 to the heat exchanger 9 or the exhaust pipe 12 and adjust the ratio to any intermediate value. ing. Therefore, by adjusting the distribution ratio using the lever 13 of the distribution valve 11, the entire engine exhaust gas can be passed through the heat exchanger 9 to reach the maximum heating state, or an appropriate amount can be diverted to the exhaust pipe 12 to adjust the heating. Alternatively, the entire amount of waste heat may be allowed to flow into the exhaust pipe 12 so that the incoming air is not heated by the heat exchanger 9, or any waste heat may be used in relation to the use of engine output.

る。 In FIG. 1, reference numeral 14 denotes a hopper into which powder, powder, or lumps to be dried are charged;
Reference numeral 5 denotes a chute for discharging these dried granules from the drum opening, and the mechanism for charging and discharging them is no different from that of a general concrete mixer truck, but it is preferable that these parts be equipped with dustproof measures (not shown). The hood shall be covered.

となるものである。 As described above, according to the drying truck of the present invention, powders, granules, lumps, and mixtures thereof can be dried using the truck mixer.
Since air from the engine room is blown, dry air preheated by the heat of the engine can be blown into the drum, and it can also be further heated by exchanging heat with the engine exhaust gas. The drying truck can be driven to a collection yard for refractory raw materials to be dried and drying work can be carried out continuously on site, or the drying can be transported to another location while being dried.
This allows efficient drying work to be carried out at any location without the need for fixed equipment such as a rotary kiln.
