本発明はプラスチツクス製竹刀に関し、より詳
しくは打突時の相手人体に与える衝撃を緩和した

とが望ましく、例えば2本であつても、これを一
方に偏らせせて設けると充分な効果が得られな
い。又、硬質パイプに設けた切込み部の先端から
切込みを設けたくない部分に亀裂が入り、この亀
裂が進行し、結果的に竹刀の耐久性を低下させる
事態を招来しないように、亀裂の伝播を防ぐ手段
を講じることが望ましい。例えば、切込み部を設
けた部分に間歇的に強靭なテープや糸をまきつけ
たり、密着するリングを嵌挿したりして亀裂の伝
播を防ぐと共に、しなりの程度を調節することが
できる。又、切込み部先端を円形ないし半円形に
