DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a cassette tape recorder in which a cassette holder is moved toward and away from a chassis to attach and detach a cassette held by the holder to and from a reel shaft attached to the chassis. In particular, the present invention relates to an improvement that allows a tape cassette to be easily inserted into a holder and prevents the tape cassette from jumping out too much when ejecting the holder.

In conventional cassette-type tape recorders of this type, one end of a leaf spring for holding down the cassette is fixed to a part of the cassette holder, and the other end of the leaf spring is spaced apart and opposed to the bottom plate of the holder. By inserting the cassette between the other end of the spring and the bottom plate of the holder, the cassette is stably held within the holder by the elasticity of the leaf spring.

By the way, with this configuration, the cassette must be inserted while pushing the leaf springs aside.
The elasticity of the leaf spring must be set to a level that does not make it difficult to insert the cassette. However, on the other hand, if the elasticity of the leaf spring is not sufficiently strong, a satisfactory cassette holding force cannot be obtained when loading the cassette, and the state in which the cassette is held becomes uncertain. Therefore, if an attempt is made to facilitate the insertion of the cassette, the cassette will not be held securely, and if an attempt is made to ensure the cassette is held, it will become difficult to insert the cassette. Furthermore, since the tape cassette is ejected against the elastic holding force of the leaf spring when ejecting, if the urging force of the ejecting member is weak, the tape cassette cannot be reliably ejected. If the biasing force is too strong, the cassette will pop out too much, causing the cassette to fall to the floor of the car when used in a car stereo, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize the elasticity of the leaf spring and the biasing force of the eject member. It was extremely difficult to establish a proper relationship. To make matters worse, since the dimensions of the tape cassettes vary considerably, the cassette holding force by the leaf spring varies depending on the dimensions of the cassette, especially the thickness, and as a result, the biasing force of the ejecting member is not constant. However, when a thick cassette was used, the cassette had a strong holding force, making it impossible to eject the cassette reliably, and conversely, when a thin cassette was used, the cassette would pop out too much. .

The present invention has been made based on the above circumstances, and its object is to provide a cassette of a type in which a cassette holder is moved toward and away from the chassis, and a cassette held in the holder is attached to and detached from the reel shaft on the chassis. In a tape recorder, the cassette can be easily inserted, the cassette can be held securely, and the manufacturing process can be simplified by eliminating the difficulty of considering the relationship between the cassette holding force of a leaf spring and the biasing force of an eject member. Furthermore, when ejecting, the cassette can always be ejected to a desired ejecting position regardless of the thickness of the cassette.

Figure 1 is a plan view showing the mechanical parts of a cassette tape recorder, and Figure 2 is a left side view of the same.
A cassette holder 3 is rotatably mounted on the upper surface of the chassis 1 via a pivot 2. The cassette holder 3 is always biased toward the chassis 1, but an eject member 4 that also serves as a locking member
When the cassette is slid and inserted between the bottom plate 5 and the left and right side plates 6, 7 of the holder 3, the eject member 4 is inserted into the cassette. It is designed so that it can be pushed and removed from the holder 3. The cassette is inserted through the front opening of the holder 3 with the side surface on which the head insertion port and the pinch roller insertion port are provided facing toward the right and tilted slightly upward. When the eject member 4 is removed from the holder 3, the holder 3 rotates downward around the pivot 2 due to the elasticity of the spring 8 and comes into close contact with the upper surface of the chassis 1, so that the cassette in the holder 3 is attached to the chassis 1. Then, the reel shaft 9 and capstan shaft 10 are loaded. Also, move the eject operation member 11 to arrow A.
When pushed in the direction, the holder 3 rotates upward around the pivot 2, and the eject member 4 pushes the cassette back in the ejecting direction by the elasticity of the spring 8, and at the same time locks the cassette holder 3 in the upper position. At the same time, the operating member 11 is locked at the pushed-in position.
Note that the operating member 11 is released from the locked state by lowering the holder 3 and returns to its initial position.

Furthermore, when the operating member 11 moves forward or backward, the head support plate 12 moves in conjunction with this movement. This head support plate 12 is attached to the back side of the chassis 1 so as to be able to move back and forth in the left and right directions. The right end of the support plate 12 protrudes to the right of the chassis 1, and the magnetic head 13 and the pinch roller 14 is installed. Then, the holder 3 rotates downward,
When the operating member 11 returns from the pushed-in position to the initial position, the head support plate 12 moves to the left and the magnetic head 13 and pinch roller 14 are introduced into the holder 3 through the opening formed in the right side plate 7 of the holder 3. , comes into contact with the magnetic tape in the cassette held by the holder 3. In particular, the pinch roller 14 is pressed against the capstan shaft 10 via a magnetic tape,
The tape is fed by rotation of the capstan shaft 10. When the operating member 11 moves to the push-in position, the head support plate 12 moves to the right before the holder 3 rotates upward, removing the magnetic head 13 and the pinch roller 14 from the cassette. Between the left and right side plates 6 and 7 of the cassette holder 3, a rotating member 15 in the form of an elongated plate is rotatably supported as shown in FIG. This rotating member 15 is moved forward from the intermediate portion (in the cassette insertion direction).
It has a contact portion 16 that extends toward the chassis 1 by bending the contact portion 16 downward from an intermediate position.
It is facing the top surface of. In addition, the rotating member 15
A tongue piece 17 is provided protruding from one end side, and this tongue piece 17
A braking member 18 having a large friction coefficient is adhered to the back surface of the holder. This braking member 18 is preferably a plate-shaped member made of a soft material such as sponge rubber so as not to damage the cassette. Furthermore, the rotary member 15 has a shape approximately “close” to the base of the abutment portion 16.
One end of a cassette holding leaf spring 19, which is bent into a square shape, is attached. The other end of the leaf spring 19 extends in the cassette removal direction, and has a dogleg-shaped bent convex portion facing the bottom plate 5 of the holder 3 at a distance, so that the cassette in the holder 3 is elastically moved against the bottom plate 5. It is designed to be held stably by pressing it against the target.

Further, both ends of the rotating member 15 have narrow width parts 21 and 22, and a compression coil spring 20 is wound around the narrow width part 21 at one end. on the other hand,
The left and right side plates 6, 7 of the holder 3 are provided with locking holes 23, 24 into which the narrow parts 21, 22 are inserted, respectively, and the rotating member 15 is always attached toward the other end by the spring 20. At the same time, the contact portion 16 is urged to rotate in the direction of arrow B (the direction in which the abutting portion 16 is directed downward). Furthermore, a narrow portion 25 is also provided at the lower end of the abutting portion 16, and the narrow portion 25 is inserted into a locking recess 26 provided in the holder bottom plate 5, and the elasticity of the coil spring 20 causes the narrow portion to be inserted into the locking recess 26. Part 25
The proximal step portion of the holder is pressed into contact with the holder bottom plate 5.

The leaf spring 19 also has a narrow portion 27 at one end, and a crank portion 27a bent downward in a crank shape is formed in the middle of the narrow portion 27a. Then, the end of the crank part 27a is passed through the opening 28 formed at the base of the contact part 16 from below and inserted into the square hole 29 from the upper surface side.
It is locked to the tip edge of the. Note that the opening 2
A locking recess 30 is formed in the center top of the leaf spring 8, and a tongue piece 31 formed by cutting and raising the center of the leaf spring 19 is locked in the locking recess 30.

Therefore, in order to attach the leaf spring 19 to the rotating member 15, as shown in FIG. , press the crank part 27a of the leaf spring 19 from above as shown by the arrow 33, and insert the other end of the crank part 27a into the square hole 29.
Then, when the tip 34 of the leaf spring 19 is positioned on the lower surface side of the contact portion 16 as shown by the imaginary line in the same figure and is further pushed in the direction of the arrow 32, the tip 34 is pushed into the square hole 28 as shown in FIG. At the same time, the tip of the tongue piece 31 fits into the locking recess 30, and the installation of the leaf spring 19 is completed.

First, the narrow portion 2 provided at one end of the rotating member 15
1 is wound with a coil spring 20, and with one end of this spring 20 inserted into the left side plate 6 of the holder 3, the narrow part 21 is inserted into the locking hole provided in the left side plate 6 while compressing the spring 20. 23 from the inside, and then insert the narrow portion 22 at the other end of the rotating member into the locking hole 24 provided in the right side plate 7 from the inside. Then,
The rotating member 15 moves to the right due to the restoring force of the spring 20, and the stepped portion of the narrow portion 22 comes into contact with the inner surface of the right side plate 7. Further, the rotating member 15 is provided with a coil spring 20.
As a result, a rotational force is applied in a direction to insert the narrow width portion 25 of the contact portion 16 into the locking recess 26 of the bottom plate 5, and the stepped portion of the narrow width portion 25 comes into contact with the upper surface of the bottom plate 5. Therefore, the narrow part 22 cannot be pulled out from the locking hole 24 unless the narrow part 25 is pulled out from the locking recess 26, and the rotating member 15 will not be accidentally removed from the cassette holder 3. .

By the way, when the rotating member 15 is attached to the cassette holder 3 as described above, the lower end of the contact portion 16 largely protrudes toward the lower surface of the bottom plate 5 of the holder 3. Therefore, when the cassette is inserted into the cassette holder 3 and the holder 3 is rotated downward, the abutting portion 1 is inserted before the bottom plate 5 of the holder 3.
The lower end of the chassis 6 comes into contact with the upper surface of the chassis 1. Therefore, as the holder 3 approaches the chassis 1 further, the rotating member 15 rotates against the coil spring 20, and this rotation causes the leaf spring 19 to forcefully press the cassette from above. It becomes like this.

On the other hand, since the braking member 18 and the leaf spring 19 are located on both sides of the rotational center line of the rotating member 15, when the leaf spring 19 is separated from the bottom plate 5 of the cassette holder 3, the braking member 18 is placed on the bottom plate 5. 5, and conversely, when the leaf spring 19 approaches the bottom plate 5, the braking member 18 separates from the bottom plate 5.

Therefore, when the cassette holder 3 is in the raised position, the gap between the bottom plate 5 of the holder 3 and the leaf spring 19 is widened, so that the cassette can be easily inserted and removed, and the cassette holder 3 is When in the lowered position, the gap between the bottom plate 5 and the leaf spring 19 is narrowed, so that the leaf spring 19 can provide a strong cassette holding force when loading a cassette. Furthermore, when the cassette holder 3 is rotated from the lowered position to the raised position again by the eject operation, the cassette holding force is lost, so that the cassette in the holder 3 is reliably ejected in the ejection direction by the eject member 4. . Moreover, at this time, the braking member 18 approaches the bottom plate 5, and the control member 18 instead of the leaf spring 19 comes into strong pressure contact with the cassette in the holder 3, so the cassette does not pop out too much, and the ejecting member Regardless of the urging force of 4, the cassette can always be moved to the position where it is easiest to take out.

As described above based on the embodiments, according to the present invention, the cassette can be easily inserted, the cassette can be reliably and stably held at a predetermined loading position, and the ejecting member It is possible to provide a cassette type tape recorder which can always eject the cassette to the most desirable take-out position regardless of the biasing force of the cassette or the size of the cassette, and which is easy to manufacture.

1. A cassette holder that is movable toward and away from the chassis and moves toward the chassis while holding a tape cassette to attach the cassette to the reel shaft on the chassis; The tape cassette is rotatably supported between both side plates of the holder, and has an eject member that ejects the tape cassette in the ejecting direction, and a contact portion that partially faces the chassis, and when the holder moves in the chassis direction, The holder is provided with a rotating member that rotates with its abutting portion in contact with the chassis, and a cassette holding plate spring and a braking member that are attached to the rotating member, and when the holder approaches the chassis, As the rotating member rotates in one direction, the cassette holding leaf spring elastically presses and holds the cassette in the holder, and when the holder is separated from the chassis, the rotating member rotates in the other direction. A cassette-type tape recorder in which a control member presses against a cassette in a holder to apply braking force to the cassette as the cassette moves.
