Further, there are cases where it is necessary to temporarily change the direction of the screen of a television receiver, depending on the condition of the light rays on the screen, the presence of multiple viewers, etc. For this reason,
A rotatable support is used, the television receiver is placed on the support, and the screen of the television receiver is turned in the required direction by rotating the support. There is.

The rotation support base 1 has a built-in rotation mechanism for rotating the top plate 3, a motor for rotating this rotation mechanism, and a motor drive circuit for driving this motor, and the motor drive circuit is connected remotely. The motor is driven by the control signal.
Reference numeral 6 designates a window section from which the remote control signal receiving section of the motor drive circuit section faces. Receive remote control signals from. As a result, the viewer of the television receiver 5 can watch the remote control signal transmitter 7 from a remote location.
By operating and sending a remote control signal, the top plate section 3 can be rotated in either the left or right direction, and the screen of the television receiver 5 can be directed in a desired direction.

The remote control signal transmitter 7 consists of a control signal generation circuit 8 and a transmission section 9, and the control signal generation circuit 8 selectively generates two types of control signals for rotating the above-mentioned motors in mutually opposite directions, for example. The transmitter 9 includes, for example, an infrared light emitting diode, modulates its light emission with one of these control signals, and sends out the modulated infrared rays 10 as a remote control signal. The motor drive circuit section 11 includes a remote control signal receiving section 12 , an amplifier circuit 13 , a decoder 14 , and a motor control circuit 1 facing the window section 6 formed in the top plate section 3 .
5 are connected in series, and two outputs of the motor control circuit 15 are connected to the motor 18 via limit switches 16 and 17, respectively. The remote control signal receiving unit 12, for example,
It includes a phototransistor and receives modulated infrared rays 10 from the transmitter 9 to demodulate a control signal. The demodulated control signal is amplified by an amplifier circuit 13 and supplied to a decoder 14. The decoder 14 has two control outputs Sr and Sl depending on the type of control signal.
output to each output terminal. Motor control circuit 15 receives these control outputs from decoder 14.
In response to Sr or Sl, a control current Ir for rotating the motor 18 in one direction or a control current Il for rotating the motor 18 in the opposite direction is generated and supplied to the motor 18 via the limit switch 16 or 17. Then, it is rotated in the direction according to the control current Ir or Il. Limit switches 16 and 17 are motor 1
This is to limit the rotation of the top plate part 3 which is rotated in the left or right direction by the rotation mechanism part rotated by the rotation mechanism part 8, and the top plate part 3 is rotated by a predetermined maximum angle. is turned off and motor 1
The control current Ir or Il to the motor 18 is cut off.
The rotation of the rotation mechanism is stopped and the rotation of the rotation mechanism is restricted. In this case, for example, a limit switch 1 is connected to the motor 18.
Even if the control current Ir is supplied through the limit switch 6 and the top plate 3 is rotated to the right by the maximum angle, and the limit switch 16 is turned off and stopped, the limit switch 1
7 is in the on state, so the control current is applied to the motor.
If Il is supplied, the top plate portion 3 can be rotated to the left. Even when the top plate portion 3 is rotated to the left by the maximum angle and then stopped, it can be similarly rotated to the right.

A remote control signal receiving section provided in the receiver for controlling power on/off operations, channel selection operations, volume adjustment operations, etc., using remote control signals may also be used.

A rubber ring 33 serving as an engaging member is interposed between the bushing 28 and the outer circumferential surface of the bushing 28 . The rubber ring 33 transmits the rotation of the worm wheel 23 to the bushing 28, causing the top plate 3 to rotate. That is, the motor drive circuit section 11
is controlled by a remote control signal to motor 18
When the motor 18 is rotated, the worm 24 rotates, and the worm 24 that engages with it rotates.
The wheel 23 is rotated with a predetermined reduction ratio, and the rotation is transmitted to the bushing 28 of the top plate 3 by the rubber ring 33, so that the top plate 3 is rotated. In this case, when the top plate 3 is in an overloaded state, such as when an excessive load is applied, the rubber ring 33 may "slip" against the bushing 28 or the worm wheel 23, causing the worm wheel 23 to rotate. This prevents the motion from being transmitted to the bushing 28, and serves as a protection device against overload of the rotating mechanism, the main components of which are the worm wheel 23 and the worm 24. Further, the top plate part 3 can be manually rotated directly with respect to the fixed part 2, but even when the top plate part 3 is manually rotated, the rubber ring 33 is between the rubber ring 33 and the bushing 28. "slip" occurs, allowing the top plate portion 3 to rotate independently. In the worm gear mechanism, rotation is transmitted from the worm to the worm wheel, but not from the worm wheel to the worm. Therefore, when the top plate part 3 is manually rotated, the worm wheel 23 cannot transmit the rotation to the worm 24 and rotate, so that an overload condition occurs, and the rubber ring 33 is rotated. This causes "slippage" between the bushing 28 and the bushing 28. in this way,
The rubber ring 33, which serves as an engagement member, transmits the rotation of the rotating mechanism section to the top plate section 3, causing the top plate section 3 to rotate, and also causes "slip" in an overload state, causing the rotation mechanism section to rotate. It serves the important function of providing protection and allowing the top plate section 3 to be rotated manually or the like independently, independently of the rotation mechanism section.

When the top plate 3 rotates, it engages with a locking part 36 protruding from the lower surface of the top plate 27 to stop the top plate 3 from rotating in the left-right direction. The distance between these stoppers 34 and 35 is selected so that the top plate 3 can rotate left and right within an angle range of 60 degrees, for example, with the connection shaft 21 as the center of rotation. Also,
Limit switches 16 and 17, which constitute a part of the motor drive circuit section 11, are arranged at the positions of the stoppers 34 and 35, respectively, and when the locking section 36 of the top plate section 3 engages with the stopper 34 or 35, At this time, the limit switch 16 or 17 is turned off, stopping the drive current to the motor 18 that rotates the rotating mechanism section, and cutting off the supply of rotational force to the top plate section 3. As a result, when the top plate part 3 is continuously rotated, it is automatically stopped when it is rotated by a predetermined angle, for example, a maximum angle of 60 degrees, either to the left or to the right. Become.

る。 As explained above, in the rotating support base according to the present invention, the top plate part that supports the placed object can be rotated directly by hand or by remote control in both left and right directions. It is suitable as a rotating table for a television receiver. When placing a television receiver on the rotating support base according to the present invention, in addition to controlling various functions of the television receiver, the viewer can also control various functions of the television receiver.
The orientation of the screen can also be controlled remotely, which is extremely convenient. In addition, when the rotation mechanism that rotates the top plate is overloaded during remote control, the rotation mechanism is protected by allowing it to essentially idle, and the top plate can be rotated manually. When the top plate is rotated, the top plate can be rotated independently independently of the rotation mechanism, so it is extremely rare for any parts to malfunction or be damaged due to the rotation of the top plate.
