ものである。[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to the shape of contacts used in many electromagnetic components such as relays and connectors.
The contacts that are fixed to the bullets of various parts by welding or the like come in a variety of shapes, such as hemispheres, discs, and trapezoids, depending on the requirements. Contacts with a trapezoidal protrusion (a semicircular protrusion) are also often used.
As is well known, the method of forming a contact chip (single contact) involves cutting a strip of contact material to the required specified length with a cutter, which has the drawback of crushing the protrusion during cutting, and therefore preventing subsequent bullets. etc., the welding is incompletely bonded, the welding strength decreases, and the dispersion increases, so there are disadvantages such as requiring welding with a large current. Therefore, the present invention provides a contact tip for the projection that does not collapse by forcibly forming a portion of the projection by only partially improving the upper cutter.

チツプにある。 That is, the feature of the present invention is that in a contact chip having a protrusion section, the contact chip is formed by cutting a strip-shaped contact material in which a protrusion is formed in the length direction into contact chips of a specified length. At one end of the projection part, which is fixed by pressing, there is a pressed deformed part caused by the pressing of one of the cutting cutters, and a shaped part in which the parts other than the pressed part are left as they are in the original shape, and the pressed deformed part side is The end face is on the contact tip formed by the cut surface formed by the other cutting cutter.

I tried to adjust the machine to prevent it from collapsing, but I couldn't prevent it from collapsing to one side like in step 3. Once such a shape is formed, when it is later welded to a bullet or the like, the welding strength will decrease and the variation will increase, so it was necessary to increase the welding energy to stabilize the welding strength. .

するものである。 The above-mentioned molding will be explained with reference to FIG. 3. 5 is a strip-shaped contact material, 6 is a contact chip that is cut from the contact material 5 to the required size, 7 is an upper cutter, 8 is a lower cutter, 9 is an electrode, Arrow A indicates the direction of movement of the lower cutter. The lower end of the upper cutter is formed with a protrusion 71 and a notch 72 at one end, like the sole of a shoe. In such a cutter configuration, the contact tip is formed by press-fitting the band-shaped contact material 5 into a cut groove provided in the contact material shape of the electrode 9 (not shown), and then using the protrusion 71 of the upper cutter to form the contact tip 2. A portion of the holder is forcibly pressed and fixed, whereby the projection of the portion is deformed into a flattened shape, but is reliably immovable and fixed. The lower cutter 8 moves in the direction of arrow A to cut and form the contact material 5 into desired dimensions. Therefore, on the end face of the pressing deformation part side that has been made flat by the protruding part 71, a cut surface is formed in which traces of cutting by the lower cutter remain. At this time, since the lower surface notch 72 of the upper cutter is cut deeper than the protrusion 71,
It does not reach Projection 2 and is therefore left in its original form. Note that the above-mentioned contact material 5 is press-fitted and held in the electrode 9 because the contact chip 6 is cut by the pressure or vibration when cutting with a cutter.
This is to prevent the contact material 5 from scattering, and also to prevent the contact material 5 from being scattered, and is also related to the post-cutting process (not shown). A connector spring or the like is placed thereon and fixed by welding to an upper electrode (not shown).

The effects are great in practical use, such as the reduction in energy consumption, which improves the life of the electrode.
