に貫通し、第2図に示すようにドリル3を挿入し
たときドリルのタング付ストレートシヤンクのタ
ング4がコツタ穴2に嵌合してトルクを受けると
共にタングの端面5が当接してスラスト荷重を受
ける壁面6が設けられていた。このようにドリル
のスラスト荷重とトルクの双方を受けるためにコ
ツタ穴2は軸に直角の壁面6を有する四角長穴形
状となつていた。しかしながら四角長穴形状のコ
ツタ穴を形成するにはスロツタなどで製作しなけ
ればならず加工が困難で加工時間がかかり多くの

たスロツタ加工のように特殊な工具を作る必要が
