端部より上記用紙を再給紙するため搬出する中間
トレイを有するシート搬送装置において、上記中
間トレイへ用紙を搬送しかつ該トレイより用紙を
搬出する用紙径路を挾んで互いに圧接し、用紙を
該トレイに搬入する方向と、該トレイより排出す
る方向とに夫々の回転方向を切換え可能なローラ
対を設け、上記中間トレイは用紙受入れ可能な態
位と、用紙送り出し可能な態位との間に切換え可
能とされ、用紙を中間トレイへ搬入する際は上記
中間トレイを用紙受入れ可能な態位とするととも
に、上記ローラ対を用紙搬入方向に回転させ、用
紙を中間トレイから搬出する際は中間トレイを用
紙送り出し可能な態位とするとともに、上記ロー
ラ対を用紙搬出方向に回転させる如く切換えるよ
うに制御するようにしたことを特徴とするシート
