Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize an electronic timepiece with a bathometer which enables safe dividing by displaying alarm by functions on a display device according to the control signal from a decision circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a function selection switch KS is operated once in a normal timepiece function state, the bathometer function selection signal DV of a function selecting circuit 6 goes up to a level H. Then, a display switching circuit 9 outputs wave-depth information PS from a hydraulic pressure measuring circuit 5 as display information PK to display a water depth value on the display device 11 through a decoder driver circuit 10 and an AND gate 8b of the decision circuit 8 turns on. Further, the timepiece selection signal TK goes down to a level L with a switch KS turned on, so a gate 8a turns off. When a drop in battery voltage is detected by a battery voltage detecting circuit 7 in this state, a detection signal BD goes up to a level H and a control signal C2 as the output of the gate 8b also falls to the level H. Then, the water depth value displayed on the device 11 blinks to begin to display warning of battery life, so safe dividing is secured.

[Problems to be solved by the invention 1~] In conventional electronic watches with depth gauges, when a drop in battery voltage is detected, a warning is displayed regardless of the clock function or the depth gauge function in order to simplify the logic circuit. It is configured to display the same warning display. However, diving is a dangerous sport, and if the depth gauge function is impaired due to a drop in battery voltage, it can be a life-threatening problem.

Next, the operation of the electronic timepiece with the above configuration will be explained. 1. In the normal timepiece function state, the timepiece function selection signal TK output from the function selection circuit 6 is at the tl level. The display switching circuit 9 is connected to the clock circuit 3.
The time information Px from 1 is outputted as the display 1 blue report Pk, and the time is displayed on the display device 11 as shown in FIG. 2(a) via the decoder/driver circuit 10. is set to ON state. Further, the depth gauge function selection signal DV is at the L level, and the ND gate 8b is in the OFF state. In this state, when a battery voltage drop is detected by the battery voltage detection circuit 6, the detection signal BD becomes the -■ level, so the AND gate 8a

From the normal watch function state, set the function selection switch KS to 1.
When the recirculation is performed, the function selection circuit 6 outputs the depth gauge function selection signal D.
V becomes the ■I level, and as a result, the display switching circuit 9 outputs the water depth information Ps from the water pressure measuring circuit 5 as display information Pk, and displays the information as shown in FIG.
By displaying the water depth value on the display device 11 as shown in b), it becomes a water depth meter function, and at the same time, the A of the judgment circuit 8
ND gate 81] is turned on. Further, as the clock function selection signal TK is brought to the L level by operating the switch KS, the AND gate 8a is turned off. In this state, when the battery voltage detection circuit 7 detects a decrease in battery voltage, the detection signal BD changes to 1. Become Rubel, AND
The control signal C2, which is the output of the game controller 8b, also becomes an i-level. As a result, the decoder/driver circuit 10 causes the water depth value displayed on the display device 11 to flash as shown in FIG.

As is clear from the above explanation, according to the present invention, when a drop in battery voltage is detected when the depth gauge function is selected, the numerical pattern such as the water depth value displayed on the display device is flashed, and the clock function is switched off. By configuring the system so that the warning level is higher than in the case of colon flushing, it is possible to continue diving without noticing that the battery voltage has dropped during a dive and avoid encountering danger. The commercialization of electronic watches with depth gauges that enable safe diving will have a significant impact.
