以下この考案を図面に示すとおり手術台に於け
る側部支持器に実施した場合の実施例に添つて説
明する。先ず第1図において従来の側部支持器に
ついて説明する。図において1は人体の側部に当
接してこれを支持するマツト、2(21〜22)
は3個設けられたそれぞれの締付ボルト3(31
〜33)を介してマツト1と固定具4を連結する
レバー、5は前記固定具4を手術台のベツトフレ
ーム6に具備されたレール7に固定させるボルト
である。前記マツト1を人体側部に当接して調節
する場合、上述したように各ボルト31〜33を
調節するので迅速性に欠けるとともに、ボルト3
により連結構成のためレバー2の振れ角度が限定
されるという欠点があつた。以下第2図に添つて
この考案による連結具について説明する。図にお
いて12はマツト1を保持するバー、8はピン1
0を介して前記バー12に一体的に固定されたボ
ールで両挾持フレーム11,11′のそれぞれの
一端部に穿設された孔13,13′に挾持され
る。他方9は固定具4側に一体的に固定されたボ
ールで、前記両挾持フレーム11,11′のそれ
ぞれの他端部に穿設された孔14,14′に挾持
される。なお、このボール9は切断しない状態で
示している。孔13,13′はボール8より小径
であり、また孔14,14′はボール9より小径
で穿設されていて、各ボール8,9が両フレーム
11,11′にて挾持できるようになつているの
である。3は両挾持フレーム11,11′に装着
され両挾持フレーム11,11′を締付けできる
ボルトで、この締付けボルト3の締付けによつて
挾持フレーム11,11′とそれぞれのボール
8,9間はクサビ作用で固持され、また締付けボ
ルト3の開放によつて挾持フレーム11,11′
のそれぞれのボール8,9への締付は解除される
のである。したがつてマツト1の位置調節を行う
場合は締付ボルト3を適宜ゆるめれば、挾持フレ
ーム11,11′およびマツト1は自在に多角方
向へ移動でき任意の位置において締付ボルト3を
適宜締付けるだけでよいのである。このように締
付ボルト3の作動によつてボールに連接された部
材(マツトあるいは固定具)の連結、解除を行わ
せるよう構成した点にこの考案の特徴がある。第
3図は各ボール8,9が挾持フレーム11,1
1′にて挾持されてマツト1が固定具4に固定保
持された状態を示す斜視図である。また第4図は
特にボール9が両挾持フレーム11,11′によ
つて挾持される状態の要部を拡大して示す図で、
両挾持フレーム11,11′に穿設された孔1
4,14′はボール9の径より若干小さく設定さ
れていてくさび作用によりボール9と両挾持フレ
