In an agricultural machine that is equipped with a ball clutch mechanism that turns on and off power transmission from the drive shaft to the driven shaft in a transmission case containing lubricating oil, the ball that engages and disengages the drive shaft and the driven shaft is used. A covering cylindrical shifter is fitted over the outer periphery of the drive shaft and the driven shaft so as to be slidable along the axes of both, and is fitted onto at least one of the drive shaft, the driven shaft, and the cylindrical shifter.
