ツクアツプ解除圧を供給する解除圧回路との間に

元圧供給回路との接続切換をするロツクアツプコ
ントロール弁とを備え、かつ、前記締結圧回路に
前記ロツクアツプコントロール弁を迂回するオリ
フイス付きのバイパス回路と、前記ロツクアツプ
コントロール弁が解除圧回路側に切換えられたと
きに締結圧回路に接続されるドレン回路とを設け
、これらバイパス回路およびドレン回路の後流側
にクーラーを配設して作動液の冷却を行なうよう
にした自動変速機において、前記解除圧回路に、
トルクコンバータ内の解除圧が低いときは絞り径
を小さくし、かつ該解除圧が高いときは絞り径を
大きくする可変絞り手段を設けたことを特徴とす
