Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable images to be recorded with excellent image quality, by supporting a recording head at one point so that a recording part of the head makes uniform contact with a recording paper, in a movable-type recorder. CONSTITUTION:A recording head 9 is fixed to a head support plate 20, on which a flanged guide pin 21 as a means for vertically moving the head 9 is planted at a substantially central position of the side opposite to the head side. The head-moving means 21 is passed through a hole 22a for restricting the vertical position of the head formed in a head-restricting plate 22, and a tension spring 24 is fitted between the head-moving means 21 and a spring retainer 23 of the head-restricting plate 22 to normally energize the head 9 downward. Accordingly, the recording head is supported at one point, and conforms to the surface of a recording paper to make accurate contact with the latter, so that images can be recorded with excellent image quality.
