  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 操舵車輪を回転可能に支持するとともにほぼ上
    下方向の軸線のまわりに回動可能なナツクルと、 上下方向の軸線のまわりに回動可能に設けられ
    、タイロツドによつて前記ナツクルに接続された
    ベルクランクと、 車体に回動可能に取り付けられたハウジング、
    そのハウジングによつて回転可能かつ軸方向に移
    動不能に保持された軸駆動ギア、その軸駆動ギア
    に螺合されたねじ軸および前記ハウジングに固定
    されて前記軸駆動ギアを駆動する電動モータを備
    え、前記ねじ軸が前記ベルクランクに連結された
    電動シリンダと、 運転者によつて回転操作されるステアリングホ
    イールと、 そのステアリングホイールに一端が結合され、
    他端が回転伝達機構によつて前記電動モータの回
    転軸に連結されたステアリングシヤフトと、 そのステアリングシヤフトに設けられて前記ス
    テアリングホイールに加えられるトルクを検出す
    るトルク検出装置と、 そのトルク検出装置によつて検出されたトルク
    の大きさに対応した電流を前記電動モータに供給
    する制御回路と を含むことを特徴とする電気式パワーステアリン
    グ装置。
