  1. クランクケース内に形成されメインベアリング
    キヤツプと協働してクランク軸を支持する軸受部
    と、同軸受部の両側に配設された一対のスカート
    部との間に、下方に開いた空所が設けられたもの
    において、上記軸受部とロワーデツキ部との間に
    、クランク軸線に平行な方向及びシリンダ軸線に
    平行な方向に夫々高さを有する補強用リブを設け
    たことを特徴とするエンジンのクランクケース。
