Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an air-permeable rodenticidal cloth useful for electric wire, container, etc., having durability, containing a rodenticide not dropping from the surface of the cloth, not oozing to the back of the cloth, by scattering the rodenticide in a shape of contained capsule on one side of the cloth. CONSTITUTION:A solution containing cycloheximide shown by the formula is used as a core substance, coated with a wall substance such as polyester resin, etc., and made into microcapsules to give rodenticidal contained capsules, which are scattered to one side of cloth (preferably the capsules are scattered to one side of meshy structural cloth and nonwoven fabric is laminated to the other side of the meshy structure) to give rodenticidal cloth. Preferably the capsules are contained in a thermoplastic resin and dispersed and preferably the thermoplastic resin contains a colorant. The cloth is useful for hose, rubber tube, canvas, sheet, film, etc.

<Prior art> Many proposals have been made to prevent rodent damage, but one that is generally known is to apply a concentrated resin solution mixed with a rodent repellent to a synthetic resin sheet to prevent rodent damage. It is made into a sheet (for example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 58-12778, etc.). However, it has been found that such rodent-proof sheets have the following problems.

(1) The rodent repellent oozes (bleeds) to the back surface of the sheet, which is unfavorable from a safety and health standpoint.

(2)防鼠剤がシート表面から脱落するので防鼠効果の

(2) Since the rodent repellent falls off from the sheet surface, the durability of the rodent repellent effect is low. In other words, the lid resistance rapidly decreases over time.

<Object of the Invention> The present invention has been made in order to solve the conventional problems in rat-proof fabrics. That is, the object of the present invention is to provide a rat-proofing fabric in which the rat-proofing agent does not fall off the fabric surface, does not ooze out to the back side of the fabric, and has a highly durable rat-proofing effect.

<Structure of the Invention> That is, the present invention is characterized in that, in a breathable fabric subjected to rat-proofing treatment, the rat-proofing agent has the shape of capsules containing the rat-proofing agent, and the capsules are dotted on one side of the fabric. It is a rat-proof fabric.

In the present invention, the breathability of the fabric is at least 5cc/se
It is desirable that it be at least c/cd. The form of the fabric may be woven or knitted fabric, non-woven fabric, net-like fabric, etc., but for example, in the case of a lattice-like net-like fabric, the distance between adjacent threads (gaps) is 10

``Microencapsulated preparation'' (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 155325/1983) is known, in which a solution containing cycloheximide is used as a core material, and the core material is covered with a wall material. Here, the solvent is methyl alcohol,
Methyl ethyl ketone, hexane, xylene, buO pionic acid ester, etc. are used, and as the wall material of the microcapsules, urea resin, melamine resin, polyester resin, etc. are used.

Application is only on one side of the fabric. If applied to both sides, if a rat chews on the rat-proof fabric, the rat-proofing agent will ooze out from the back side of the fabric and adhere to, for example, rice grains in a container, which is unfavorable from a safety and health standpoint.

The material used for the fabric is not particularly limited, and may be natural mH or synthetic fiber. The structure of the fabric is also not particularly limited. Woven or knitted fabrics, non-woven fabrics, etc. may be used, but in the case of woven fabrics, it is preferable to use mosha weave, etc., since this enhances the effect of preventing the drug from slipping off and provides a suitably breathable fabric. For example, the rat repellent-containing capsules can be dotted on the surface of the fabric as follows.
