- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 磁性トナーと少量の磁性キヤリアとの混合現像
剤により現像を行う現像装置において、 複数の磁極を有するマグネツトロール及びこの
マグネツトロールに回転可能に外嵌された現像ス
リーブより成り、前記現像剤を吸着して像担持体
に搬送する現像剤保持部材と、 該現像剤保持部材の上方に所定間隔をもつて配
置され、前記現像剤保持部材に吸着する現像剤の
層厚を規制する規制部材と、 該規制部材の近傍の現像剤を他の部位へ搬送す
る搬送機構とを備え、 前記マグネツトロールは、前記規制部材の下方
に前記現像剤保持部材の上方に反発磁界を形成す
るための同極性磁極を有することを特徴とする現
像装置。
