４１は調整ボルト、４２は盲ボルトである。

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 ラツク軸と、該ラツク軸に対し一端側で噛合う
    回転入力用ピニオン軸と前記ラツク軸に対し中間
    部で噛合う回転取出用ピニオン軸とをギヤボツク
    ス内に組込み、該ギヤボツクスに対し前記ラツク
    軸を一端側の前記回転入力用ピニオン軸との噛合
    部と他端部の端部とで摺動自在に支持したステア
    リングギヤ装置において、 前記ラツク軸の中間部に噛合う前記回転取出用
    ピニオン軸をピニオンホルダ内に偏心させて回転
    自在に支持し、 該ピニオンホルダを前記ギヤボツクスに対し回
    動調整自在に組付けるとともに、 前記ギヤボツクスの前記ラツク軸に対する前記
    回転取出用ピニオン軸との噛合部の背面側の部分
    には、前記ピニオンホルダの回動による該噛合部
    のバツクラツシユ調整時に前記ラツク軸の背面に
    対しクリアランスを保つて臨む調整ボルトを螺着
    し、且つバツクラツシユ調整後に該調整ボルトよ
    りも短い盲ボルトを螺着するためのネジ孔を形成
    したこと、 を特徴とするラツクピニオン式ステアリングギヤ
    装置のバツクラツシユ調整構造。
