Claims

[Claims for Utility Model Registration] Two polymer film substrates each having a transparent electrode on the inside are bonded to face each other with a sealing material interposed therebetween, and an enclosed space defined by the sealing material and both substrates is provided. A liquid crystal is sealed to form a display area in the sealed area, the polymer film substrate is extended outside the display area together with a transparent electrode to form an electrode extraction part, and an external circuit board is connected to the electrode extraction part. In the liquid crystal display device, each of the electrode extraction portions of the two substrates is extended in the same direction, a notch is formed in at least one of the electrode extraction portions, and an external circuit board is provided between the two electrode extraction portions. A liquid crystal display device characterized in that a part of the external circuit board is exposed from a notch of the electrode extraction part, and the exposed part is used as a connection part of an external drive circuit.
