Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 画像が記された用紙に向かつて光を発する
発光部と、用紙からの反射光を受ける受光部とを
備え、読取位置にセツトされた用紙の画像を読み
取る画像読取ヘツドと、 前記用紙を前記画像読取ヘツド側から支持して
画像読取ヘツドと用紙との間に一定の隙間を生じ
させる第一支持部材と、 その第一支持部材に対して接近・離間可能に設
けられ、前記用紙に前記第一支持部材とは反対側
から接触し、第一支持部材と共同して用紙を支持
するとともに、前記読取ヘツドに対向する位置に
基準の反射率を有する基準反射面を備えた第二支
持部材と を備えた画像読取装置において、 前記第一支持部材と前記第二支持部材との間に
前記用紙が存在しない状態においては、前記読取
ヘツドの読取面と前記基準反射面とが隙間を隔て
て互に対向する空間を外部から遮断する位置にあ
り、前記両支持部材の間を前記用紙が通過する際
はその通過を許容する位置へ退避する遮断部材を
設けたことを特徴とする画像読取装置。 (2) 前記第一支持部材と前記第二支持部材とが
、それら両部材間に前記用紙が存在しない状態で
は、用紙送り方向における前記読取面および基準
反射面の上流側および下流側の両方において互に
密着し、前記遮断部材として機能する実用新案登
