Claims (1)
- インクカートリツジ内のインク残量を検出する
装置において、インク又は空気の屈折率と同一又
は近似した屈折率を有し、インク中に浸漬されて
いる部分と空気中に位置する部分とで異なる反射
率を示す乱反射面を一部に備え、該乱反射面をイ
ンクの深さ方向に延在させたインクレベル検出板
と、該検出板に光を入射させる投光部及び該検出
板からの反射光を捉える受光部とを具備すること
を特徴とするインクカートリツジのインク残量検
出装置。
