- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 セル内に液晶が封入され、そのセルの対向する
内面に第１、第２電極が対向して形成された液晶
表示素子において、 上記第１電極と重ねられて遮光膜が上記セル内
に形成され、 その遮光膜に、上記第１電極よりも面積が小さ
い表示パターンを決定する光透過窓が形成されて
いることを特徴とする液晶表示素子。
