It is often used to three-dimensionally detect objects in a wide detection area. In order to perform three-dimensional detection in this way, there is a problem in that the shape of the detector becomes large. Therefore, attempts have been made to reduce the size of the optical system by using a Fresnel lens, but even when this Fresnel lens is used, there are limits. Therefore, in order to achieve further miniaturization, a one-beam type heat ray detection element has been developed. This heat ray detection element has a sporadic detection area and is often used to control illuminators. However, because the heat-ray detector using this type of heat-ray detection element is too small in size, it does not have a variable mechanism for adjusting the mounting direction or detection area, and there is a problem in that the mounting location is limited. In addition, some of the devices that perform the three-dimensional W command mentioned above use a heat ray detection element with multiple elements in order to improve noise resistance. Because of the directivity, there was a problem in that the mounting location was often limited in order to satisfy the specifications.

It is equipped with a body whose lower part is formed into a cylindrical shape for storage, and a lower cover attached to the lower surface of the second body so as to be rotatable in the circumferential direction, so that the body and the main body of the detector can be rotated in the vertical direction. Since the body and the lower cover are freely rotatable in the circumferential direction, the detection area can be arbitrarily set, so that the mounting location of the object detector is not limited. By forming the rotating Wi structure in the detector main body, body, and lower cover, there is no need for a special detection area variable device to vary the detection area, making it possible to downsize the object detector. This is how it works.

The hanging piece 1 of the lower part of the body 2 is attached to the inner periphery of the side surface.
Rib 16 that fits into the gap between 3b and the inner surface of the body 2
are formed along the sides. The glue 116 prevents the body 2 from expanding outward in the direction indicated by the arrow in the attached state as shown in FIG. Inwardly of this glue 116 is a locking part 1 whose upper part is hook-shaped.
7 is protrudingly provided, and by locking the upper hook-shaped portion 18 to the upper surface 13a of the receiving portion 13, the hook-shaped portion 18 and the rib 16 are connected.
The lower cover 3 is attached to the lower surface of the body 2 by sandwiching the receiver part 13. In this way, the receiver is part 13
If the upper surface 13& is made into an inclined surface, even if there is some dimensional error, the hook-shaped portion 18 of the locking portion 13 will be securely locked as shown in FIG. 8(b), and as shown in FIG. 8(a). As shown in FIG.
There will be no clearance or rattling between the upper surface of the receiver section 13m and the upper surface of the receiver section 13m.In addition, on the bottom surface of the lower cover 3, there is a protrusion 20 that comes into elastic contact with the groove 14 formed in the receiver section 13 of the body. An L-shaped circumscribed piece 19 is formed at the tip, and when the body 2 is rotated in the circumferential direction with the protrusion 20 of this elastic piece 19 in elastic contact with the groove 14, a click feeling is generated. Furthermore, the receiver of the body 2 has a stopper 21 protruding from the lower end surface of the portion 13; By abutting this stopper 21, the rotation of the body 2 is prevented from rotating more than 360 degrees. A terminal portion 22 having a terminal screw is provided on the lower surface of the lower cover 3, and is connected to the output #1t24 of the object detection circuit drawn out through the hole 23 formed in the lower part of the detector body 1. It has become.

° It can be rotated, and the detector body 1 can be rotated through the opening 11 of the body 2.
By being able to rotate approximately 90 degrees vertically along the The area can be changed freely, and the installation location is not limited. Moreover, considering the case where it is used in an ultrasonic detector as shown in Fig. 12,
By forming a fixing part 33 for fixing the horn 32 in advance on the inner surface of the detector main body 1, and also forming a mounting rib 35 for attaching the printed circuit board 6 downward when the horn 32 is attached. , the detector main body 1 can be used for both hot rays and ultrasonic waves.
