Snow accumulates, and ice and icicles form, and as the outside temperature rises, they fall in clumps, and can therefore fall on the heads of passersby passing by buildings. Moreover, because passersby only pay attention to their feet and not their heads, falling chunks of snow and icicles were extremely dangerous.

The figure shows a preferred embodiment of the window frame of the present invention, in which 1 is a sash lower frame, on which are rails 2 and 3 for guiding the sash. 4 is a seal that seals between the edge of the shoji and the upright part of the lower frame 1. A plate plate 10, also called a drain plate, is installed under the lower frame 1 and is gently sloped downward from there. This dish plate 10 is made of a two-stage integrally molded member, the lower part 11 of which plays the role of a draining plate, and the upper part 12 is provided in contact with the lower surface of the lower frame 1. Reference numeral 5 denotes a mounting bolt, by which the plate plate 10 is fixed to the lower frame 1. 6 is an anchor, which is the upper part 1 of the plate plate.
The inner end wall of 2 is fixed to the anchor 6 by bolts 7.

する。 In this window frame, the surface of the plate plate 10, that is, the lower part 1
A sheet-like heating element 13 is installed on the lower surface of the heating element 1 using an adhesive or the like, and a heat insulating material 14 is installed below it. This heating element 13 is an electric heater formed into a pine shape. In a preferred embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2, the heating element 13 is fixed almost uniformly to the lower surface of the plate plate 10 with a double-sided adhesive tape 15 that is heat resistant and has high thermal conductivity, and As the material 14, glass wool is used. Furthermore, along the inner edge of the lower portion 11 of the plate plate 10 and below that portion, a side member 16 having a generally U-shaped cross section is fixed by bolts 5 with its open side facing outward. The outer end of the plate 10 is provided with an integral end wall 17 extending substantially vertically and having an inwardly bent lower end, and a bottom plate 18 between the lower part of the side member 16 and the inward bend of the end wall 17. It is fixed, thereby closing the bottom of the pan 10, and the lower part of the pan is configured as a hollow body. Note that 19 is a heat insulating material installed under the upper part of the plate plate.
20 is a condensation catcher, which prevents the condensed water that has flowed down through the shoji from flowing down to the indoor side.

Therefore, the heat generated there does not escape downward, and the plate 1
It is suitably used for heating the tray plate 10 to melt snow accumulated on the plate plate 10 and to prevent ice from forming on the plate plate 10. Further, by heating the plate 10, no icicles are formed hanging down from the outer edge of the plate, and snow and ice flow down as water droplets.

と同様なシート状の発熱体を設けてもよい。 In addition, since the plate plate is made in two stages in this way and the upper part 12 comes into contact with the lower surface of the lower frame 1, the heat of the heating element 13 is transmitted to the upper part and further to the lower frame 1.
Freezing of snow and rainwater on the lower frame 1 can be prevented to some extent. Furthermore, if desired,
A heating element 13 is also provided on the lower surface of the upper portion 12 of the plate plate 10.
A sheet-like heating element similar to the above may also be provided.

Since the heating element and the heat insulating material are inserted into the hollow body according to 8, it is possible to effectively heat the lower portion of the dish plate serving as a draining plate. Therefore, ice and icicles do not form on the plate, and they fall as water droplets, thereby completely preventing the risk of snow or ice falling in clumps.
