  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 放射線発生器と、この放射線発生器から発生さ
    れる放射線束の周辺部の一部を遮つて照射野を形
    成しかつそれぞれが独立に駆動されて開度を変え
    ることができる対をなすコリメータとを備えた治
    療用線形粒子加速装置において、 前記コリメータそれぞれの開度を検出する位置
    検出器と、 対称照射野を指示されると対をなす前記コリメ
    ータの開度を比較し等しくない時は等しくなるま
    で前記コリメータのいずれかを駆動し、等しい時
    は外部からの指示に従つて対をなす前記コリメー
    タの両者を開き閉じまたは停止させる制御器とを
    含むことを特徴とする治療用線形粒子加速装置。
