Description
本願発明は、噴射されたとき直ちに発泡体が形
成され、その後短時間のうちにその泡が消失する
消泡速度の大きい発泡エアゾール組成物、特に乳
化液の発泡体が形成される発泡エアゾール組成物
に関するものである。
一般にシエービングクリーム等の化粧品、その
他においては、原液が発泡体とされた状態で使用
される場合が少なくなく、斯かる場合にエアゾー
ル装置の利用が極めて有効であり且つ便利であ
る。
而して従来、このような発泡体を得る場合にお
けるエアゾール組成物においては、エタノール等
の水溶性でしかも揮発性の溶剤中に必要な薬剤を
溶解せしめ或いは分散せしめた溶液若しくは分散
液と水とを主成分とし、両者の混合乳化状態を安
定化するために界面活性剤を添加したものを原液
として用い、これを噴射剤により噴射せしめ、加
圧状態が解除されることにより前記溶剤が気化す
ることを利用して、前記原液の発泡体を得るよう
にしている。
しかしながら、斯かる従来の組成物において
は、作用の大きい界面活性剤が知られていなかつ
たため、溶剤として、水溶性溶剤であつて揮発性
のものを用いてこれを起泡剤とするようにしてい
るが、このような起泡剤により形成された発泡体
は、泡が消失し始めてから消失し終わるまでの間
の消泡速度が温度に依存するため、例えば夏季と
冬季のように環境温度が異なるときは、消泡速度
が大きく異なり、使用感も大きく異なる欠点があ
る。
又十分な起泡力を得るためには当該溶剤を多量
に用いる必要があつてこれに応じて水を例えば45
重量%以上も用いなければならず、このように水
の含有率が大きいため軽い発泡体を得ることがで
きず、人体に適用される製品の場合には、その使
用感が悪い欠点がある。
更に、水溶性、及び揮発性が要求されるため
に、溶剤として用い得るものの範囲が限られ、所
望の薬剤を成分として含有せしめる上で種々の支
障を招くことも多い。
本発明は以上の如き欠点を除き、原液において
安定な状態が得られると共に、温度によつてその
消泡速度が大きく異なるようなことがなくて性状
の安定した好適な発泡体を形成することのできる
発泡エアゾール組成物を提供することを目的とす
る。
本発明においては、ジオクチルソデイウムスル
フオサクシネート、ジオクチルカルシウムスルフ
オサクシネート等のジオクチルスルフオサクシネ
ートを乳化活性剤として用い、これにより、薬剤
を溶解せしめた疎水性油剤の溶液と水とを乳化せ
しめて得られる乳化液を原液とし、この原液と噴
射剤とによりエアゾール組成物を構成せしめる。
ここに各成分の割合は、乳化活性剤0.1〜10.0重
量%、油剤0.5〜10重量%、水10〜40重量%、及
び噴射剤55〜85重量%とする。
前記油剤としては、ベンジルアルコール、オレ
イルアルコール、ステアリルアルコール、各種エ
ステル類、ケロシン等、用いる薬剤に適したもの
が任意に用いられ、又噴射剤としては、各種のフ
レオンガス、ジメチルエーテル、液化石油ガス等
の液化ガス又は圧縮ガス、或いはこれらに更に炭
酸ガス、亜酸化窒素ガス等を例えば0.01〜0.8重
量%混入せしめることも可能である。
前記油剤に溶解せしめる薬剤としては、目的に
応じて任意のものが用いられ、更に必要に応じて
香料、エモリエント剤、或いは通常この分野にお
ける製剤に用いられる種々の薬剤を混合し得るこ
とも勿論である。
尚前記ジオクチルソデイウムスルフオサクシネ
ートは以下の構造式で表わされるスポンジ状物質
である。
本発明エアゾール組成物は以上の通りであつ
て、乳化活性剤としてジオクチルスルフオサクシ
ネートを用いるために非常に大きな乳化作用が得
られ、このため必要な薬剤のための溶剤として疎
水性或いは難水溶性若しくは対水不溶性の油剤を
用いることができると共に少量の水とによつて安
定な乳化液状の原液を得ることができる。
又前記乳化活性剤は界面活性作用も大きくて前
記原液の表面張力が非常に小さくなり、これによ
りエアゾールとして噴射剤の推進力により噴射せ
しめたときに直ちに当該噴射剤が閉じこめられた
気泡による発泡体を形成するようになる。ここに
得られる発泡体は噴射ガスによる気泡によるもの
であるため、使用環境の温度による影響を殆んど
受けず、常に同一の状態の発泡体が形成され、ま
た短時間のうちに消失するこの泡は、使用環境温
度が異なる場合においても、泡が消失し始めてか
ら消失し終わるまでの間の消泡速度が実質上異な
ることがなく、性状の安定した好適な発泡体を形
成することができる。
又既述のように用いる水の割合は少なくてよ
く、しかも前記油剤には揮発性或いは親水性等の
特性が要求されないことから、この油剤の選択範
囲が広範であり、用いるべき薬剤に応じて好まし
いものを任意に選ぶことができ、ひいては薬剤と
して用い得る範囲も大きくなる。そして既述のよ
うに、用いる水の含有率は40重量%以下の小さな
割合でよいから、軽い発泡体を得ることができて
人体に適用される場合には、さつぱりとした好適
な使用感のものとなる。
尚実際のエアゾール製品とする場合における仕
様の一例は、元圧力が温度20℃で2.5〜4.0Kg/
cm2、噴射量は温度20℃における10分間の噴射で
0.5〜5.0g程度とすればよい。
次表に本発明の実施例を掲げる。これらの実施
例においては、何れも満足すべき乳化液の発泡体
を形成せしめることができた。
尚表中、「OTP−100」及び「OTP−75」は、
それぞれ純ジオクチルソデイウムスルフオサクシ
ネート及びその75重量%溶液を表わす。
